    This place is sooo good.
It is a small place located in Yaletown, owned by a brother and sister (I think).
They have few tables inside and they server deserted and sandwiches.  The Polo Picante is amazing - crispy bread with moist chicken and avocado.  Probably the best sandwich I have had.
I have also tried their crepes which are really good.
    Perfect and very good priced.

I came into this snug place with a friend after a class of BarreFitness. A short walk from the studio and the Yaletown Canadaline stop, this cozy cafe features sandwiches, crepes (savoury and dessert) and hot chocolate. Everything looked really good, but I decided on the Polo Picante. Inside a toasted bun there was warm adobo chicken, fresh avacado, and melted fruliano cheese. The plate also came with a small side salad of garden greens with a sweet light salad dressing. The sandwich was a good size that satisfied my post-barre workout. To top of the sandwich, I also ordered their specialty hot chocolate with Lavender. It was absolutely delicious - creamy, hot and had the right amount of lavender swirled in. It was like the perfect grown-up hot chocolate ever! They also had a choice of Spice, Rose, Hazelnut, Dark, Milk, and White hot chocolate.

The service was really nice and I don't know if the guy there was the owner but he had a great, welcoming smile and attitude. I will definitely be back for more Sparo Spara!

Owned by a brother and sister combo, this quaint little place is right in the middle of Yaletown where all the restaurants and shops are. It's not the most visible place as right beside it is a mass of construction and on the other side is a bigger Japanese bistro. The owners are 2 of the friendliest people you'll ever meet and they always have a smile on their face.

At first I was a little iffy about the price, but considering the portion sizes and the fact that it's in Yaletown I have since changed my mind (although not completely). They have coffees, hot chocolates and desserts but I mostly went there for the savory food.

I've tried the ham and cheese crepe, the madrid sandwich, the asparagus soup, and the maple cinnamon crepe. The ham and cheese crepe came with a salad and red bell peppers in a light dressing. The crepe was thin but there was a lot of ham. There was a nice sauce with a mayonnaise like consistency. The crepe was tasty and it was a nice huge portion. The madrid sandwich was also a huge portion and it was really delicious. I really love the combination of egg, spinach, roasted pepper and potato. Quite filling.  I wasn't very satisfied with the asparagus soup as there was barely any asparagus and the one piece I got was tough and chewy, which I spat out because it was so stringy. The soup was quite creamy and delicious though.

The maple cinnamon crepe had the right amount of sweetness to it. It was light, fluffy and delicious. They have gelato too! Nice and refreshing especially during those warm sunny days. I love mango so I tried the mango gelato.

Come before the lunch rush as it only the 2 people working there and there's always a small line up during lunch.

Would I come back? Probably. It's not my favorite place in the area but when I am in the mood for crepes I'll definitely stop by.

Best sandwiches in Yaletown!  Hearty, made fresh everyday with fresh ingredients.  The sandwiches are about $7ish and usually served with side salad dressed with their house dressing.  The hot chocolates are also the best in town, made by Chocoatl.  The crepes menu are also good.  I usually sit in with my sandwich and coffee order and enjoy the most friendly owners.  They sometimes offer my favourite dessert from there, baked banana in honey and cinnamon, served with their delicious house made whip cream.  I've been to Spero Spera quite often;  I have always been satisfied with the value, quality, and service.
