I came here to get my eyebrows done. The salon itself is a bit confusing if you come in through the hotel, you have to walk down a hall then make a right then something else. It's cute and smells nice, imagine Aveda but less classy.
The girl at the desk was very kind and chatty. She booked me in right away and offered some magazines for us to browse.
Now, my aesthetician - Alisha. Although she did a fairly good job, I found her a bit intimidating and opinionated. I believe that it's the job of the aesthetician to be friendly and to make you feel relaxed. I did my best to carry casual banter but I felt judged from the moment I walked into her room.
Although the pillows clearly weren't fresh, I felt too uncomfortable to ask for new ones. Alisha mentioned that maybe Prince George wasn't "my type of town" because they didn't have "lululemon or American Eagle". I'm sorry, but who is this lady? Way to make superficial judgments about how superficial someone else is.
Apart from that, she did an okay job. Not the high arch I requested but at least nothing horrid.
