I have been to MANY people for waxing and have always had a difficult time having my eyebrows waxed as they are sparse and I have been trying for years to get a thicker shape to them. I read the Yelp reviews for Maggie and decided to give her a try.
I am happy to say that after only a few visits and professional shapings from Maggie, my brow shape is exactly what I've been longing for.
In addition to really listening to me, Maggie is always engaging and funny and never pushes me to buy product or for more appointments. In fact, she tells me to come in less often that I think I have to!
She has also offered to order a particular shade on nail polish that I haven't been able to find myself and her prices are totally fair for the value of the appointments.
I would recommend Maggie and Spa Diva to anyone! -

I have the happiest feet ever. And it's all thanks to you Yelpers.
After working a trade show yesterday, standing on concrete floors in high heels for 12 excruciating hours, my poor tootsies certainly needed Maggie's attention!
When I arrived at this tiny, super-clean esthetics studio inside a hair salon, she had a warm soapy bowl of comfort already waiting for my abused feet. After a nice long soak, I was taken to a separate room and seated in a reclining bed while my feet were scrubbed, buffed, massaged, polished and pampered to perfection for a full hour. As I informed Maggie, I don't like to talk during my pedis, so the silence I enjoyed was neither uncomfortable nor unfriendly.
This is the most detailed pedicure I have ever received, and Maggie could easily charge much more than she does. I will definitely become a regular here. -

Maggie, you're the bomb.
I will now forever make the journey out to Coal Harbour to see this wonderful lady, whose medical assessment, attention to detail and insane massage skills made this the best pedicure I have ever had. I nearly floated out of her immaculate little spa.
A little bit more than the prices I normally pay at the cheap nail salons, but so worth it. I'll be back! -

My cousin got two facials through groupon and I must say that we never would have discouvered this wonderful spa had it not been for groupon. I am only sorry that I don't live in Vancouver so I could get the deluxe facial regularly but I will make an appointment whenever I visit and my cousin has already booked her next appointment. Maggie is a true professional who obviously loves what she does.

Maggie is my girl in Vancouver for a great facial or mani/pedi.
This woman is passionate about skincare (important in an esthetician, no?)
She is thorough in her assessment of your needs and isn't pushy about product but often gives samples of ready-made AND handmade treatments for you to try out. I LOVE that. -

After years of fearing the pain of waxing and tired of doing my own plucking, I decided it was time to get over my silly issues and find a good professional for an eyebrow shaping.
I scoured countless numbers of reviews for estheticians and spas throughout Vancouver. The reviews on Maggie and her little studio were so good, I had no reason not to try! It certainly didn't hurt that she is located just a few blocks away from home.
Maggie's studio is tiny but clean and comfortable. As for the eyebrow shaping, it was virtually painless and my brows looked clean and beautiful. I felt so relaxed! This being such a nice experience, it was hard to believe I waited so long. But maybe Maggie is just 'that' good?
Maggie also noticed my tired and dehydrated skin (something of which I'm already aware), then asked a few questions. Normally I would feel very self-conscious in this position but Maggie offered very good advice.
There was no product-pushing nor any pushing to make another appointment. I left feeling fresh and happy and will definitely be returning to Spa Diva.
5 stars for such a good experience. Thank you Maggie and fellow Yelpers! -

I saw Maggie for a medical pedicure and she was amazingly knowledgeable about feet and nails. I will be going back again and again. Her studio is tiny but very cute and she is really friendly. I usually find the chatter with hair stylists awkward but I enjoyed her company. Her space is very clean which was the foremost thing I was looking for.

i was lucky enough to have come upon this tucked away peaceful haven of relaxation just because i was born...=) yes, what i meant was this spa treat was given as a surprise bday gift!
Maggie greeted me at the door and led me right into her room. She got right down to business explaining i was about to receive a diva basic facial, a classic manicure and an eye treatment which included eyebrow touch up, massage and mask. she offered me a glass of water and then led me to my sanctuary.
it was small, dim, and cozy....serene music floating in the background. she gave me a towel to wrap myself in and told me to relax on the bed and she will be back soon.
she started with the eyebrows..and they were a mess! so i was very happy with what she did. =) all the while she is working, we both fall into a natural conversation about each other and what we do and things we value in our lives. this maggie girl is a smart cookie with big dreams...i know she will get what she wants in life. the spa is her own shop which is run by herself (and another girl, who wasnt there when i came). so if anybody comes in while she is with a patient she must leave for a minute to help them. i was so relaxed, i barely even noticed when that happened...business is great though she says. i can believe it...she's fantastic!
after she set up warm steam bath for my face and set off to find the perfect color for my nails to show off for my bday bbq that evening. by the time she started with my nails, my face was feeling tingles underneath that wonderful steam and my eyes were resting under two soft cotton balls. i couldnt see what color she chose so i trusted her and waited for my delightful surprise in the end.
the facial was wonderful, the massage she gave was relaxing, the chat we had was pleasant, the color she chose was perfect! so me!
maggie also was able to analyze my skin while she was doing the facial and gave me recommendations on what i could do to improve the appearance and health of it.
the spa was great! but maggie is the one who made the difference due to her personable nature and genuine care in what she does.
