Review from Dave R.
Hamilton, ON
I've ordered numerous times from this place, but their actual restaurant was a bit too out of reach for me to bother dropping in, until a relative's 80th birthday. Greeted by the Lucky Cat at the door, I was pretty impressed by the cheap, plastic decor everywhere. Everything from the bargain bin in a Chinatown Dollar store.
We had a buffet set out for us, and the bar was open. The food was delicious, as expected.
I generally order their takeout, and by the time it gets to me, it's a bit over steamed in the containers. It was nice to have it fresh from the kitchen. It was also quite nice to meet The Voice On The Phone in person. Their beer was somewhat lacking, although they did have Tsing Tao, which is a pretty decent Chinese beer. At least it wasn't Coors.
