Review from Jason D.
Ottawa, ON
Soul Matters is a new store on Bank and I had trouble finding a category for it on the review tools. It is sort of health related, but it is not a healthcare facility. They are focused on wellness, but in a spiritual/inner self way. My wife and I popped into Soul Matters just to check it out. We found a quaint little place filled with crystals, Buddha statues, meditation, recycling and self-help books, "inspirational" cds, incense - you catching my drift? Now don't get all judgemental. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but Soul Matters has its heart in the right place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I saw these great quotes by the Buddha silk screened onto tapestry-like wall hangings. They were very thought-provoking. I ended up buying a childrens book for my neice - it was written to help children (and the parents who read to them) find positive ways to solve conflicts with their peers. If you are open to an alternative path, Soul Matters may have what you are seeking.

Review from Amanda D.
Ottawa, ON
Soul Matters in another addition to a small collection of meditation, spiritual and/or empowerment shops in Old Ottawa South. They specialize in local, fair trade and environmentally friendly products. They carry jewelry, bamboo yoga clothing, spirituality books, CDs, DVDs, Numi fair trade tea, incense, Neti pots, cards and various decorative items. I received very good service by an employee who went over and above expectations to answer my questions. They also organize various spirituality workshops and occasionally offer massage therapy. Their prices are a bit high since they pride themselves on good products. However, it would probably be cheaper to buy their books and DVDs elsewhere.
