Ottawa was starting to let me down, thankfully there's Som Tum Thai. Fresh delicious vegetarian dishes (and non-veggie), great service, and great ambiance.

The food at Som Tum Thai is fresh and delicious with plenty of vegetarian options. They're open until 10pm most nights, except on Sunday and Monday when they close at 9pm. If you're looking for take-out, their menu is on their website.
Their service is great and prompt and I've never been disappointed with a meal. The atmosphere is cozy, so you should call to make reservations if you're coming with a large crew. My favourite dishes are Tofu Song Krueng, which is tofu topped with chilli, lemongrass, mint & tamirand sauce, and Pad pak, which is stir fried mixed vegetables with garlic sauce. Both of them are about $11 each.
The beer selection is small.
