This was one of my favorite vintage shopping experiences ever, hands down. The owner knew exactly what would look good on me and made spot on suggestions (but to be honest, I wasn't used to getting help) When I hesitated to buy as many items as I had in my arms, the owner negotiated to make it affordable for me. I just can't say enough good things about the quality of the clothing, the experience and the warm sense of satisfaction and connectedness that I had leaving.

This place is pure retro vintage! Not a single piece of modern wear in here... everything from a few rollerskates, to tutus, to cowboy gear to some trully imaginitive patterned mens shirts. WOW!
Its a little too retro for my taste but this stuff is pretty awesome! I didn't spend very long in here cause I wasn't feeling all that well but I know I need to go back and check out the lingerie and tutus and the like cause there are some awesome jewels hiding in the rough.
Wow the girl was so very sweet too me it wasn't even funny. It was honest sweet too, I told her I wasn't feeling well and she offered me a few cold remedies lol. Very sweet and super helpfull when i asked if she had corsettes... she pointed me to the back and even picked through a few to see if she had my size. I'll be back next time I'm in BC.Listed in: Thrift Thrift Thrift!!!

A frequent problem with vintage clothing shopping is that it often looks like someone's huge, crazy, messy closet just exploded. Thankfully, this is not the vibe at Solid Threads. Things are neatly organized by colour and type of item so it's easy to hunt without looking at every single thing. On top of the order, the staff is happy to help you so shopping at Solid Threads is a snap.
