This really is the tale of two very different expereinces. Both my wife and I had booked months in advance a holiday treat for us with a couples message knowing we would have spent a ton of time burning the hell out of our legs on the slopes. We get to Solarice, all of 2 minutes from out hotel, and check in, but they now don't want to have us get the messages in the Couples room. Weird, especially after 3+ months advance notice. Oh well, not a big deal.
We go to our messages and both had a very good message. I got a sports message and she got a Swedish message.
I also had a steam bath that never got up to temperature, so I was cold most of the time. Found out later that the theripist should have pre-heated the steam room for me, which probably would have made it much nicer.
The wife's mani-pedi was a disaster. They had to bring in someone from the other location to do it, she was waiting for over 30 minutes, then had it all done on the message table. Then they rushed her out the door becasue they were closing (remeber they were 30 minutes late for her!) . Really weird.
The service individually were nice, but the prepration and execution was not good at all. This is a fairly pricey day spa and they should be running a tighter ship than this.Listed in: Whistler, BC: because you just…

The Whistler location is closed. We called and tried to visit the spa and it was shut down, phone lines disconnected.

I had a Spectacular experience with Solarice Wellness Spa. Greeted by welcoming staff, beverages, relaxing ambience...SPLENDID! Private pedi room where I dozed while being pampered to the fullest. One of the best pedis I've received in some and that is saying a lot coming from me...I'm not one to doll out compliments willy nilly. If you are in the Whistler area treat yourself to Solarice, unlike the other reviews you WILL be pleased. They have my business for years to come!
