This video shop is another one of my favorites. So many just stock top blockbusters and the top mainstream classics. At sneak preview, your awareness of cinematic history and current brilliance expands exponentially. They've got heaps of foreign flicks, indy movies made on a small budget. If you want that rare Pink Floyd live DVD, they'll have it.
So it's not your typical blockbuster place, with plastered walls of new releases. They've got a good new release section but there's a lot older, more rare and unusual stuff here. It's always an adventure, and I love getting ideas from the guys who work here. They can always suggest something I never would have thought of picking up. You can also rent tapes, video equipment and video games here. -

Such a great little video store! Great staff, who have always helped me find the videos I want since I find their system a little bit confusing. Instead of taking the video off the shelf, you take up the blue tag to them. No blue tag = no copies in stock. Odd, but useful to spot available videos once you figure out how it works.
They have a ton of great foreign films, indie films, and the like stocked in this tiny little movie store. You can still find new releases, but lots of older films, too. A great little gem that's easy to miss! -

A dying breed, the movie store. This use to be the only place I would rent my movies. They have it all and I mean all. I use to skip university with a couple of bros and we would rent like 10 movies and watch them that day. Even when you had a lte fee and simple contribution would do , nvr paid the full amount. I love this unique movie stores. If you wann go retro vintage go to Sneak Preview, they have VHS too

I like Sneak Preview. It's different.
Sometimes I hate the commercialism and the monopolization of Blockbusters and I would much rather support the local businesses that provide quality over quantity.
The big thing I notice about Sneak Preview is that they have a lot of older, classic stuff. A lot of stuff that Blockbuster doesn't have. I had to rent Tess of the D'Urbervilles for school and they had it! It's such an old movie that it's only on VHS but they had it.
I really appreciate that about Sneak Preview. They have a sense of culture and I dig it.
They do have new releases too but that's not why I seek out Sneak Preview - it's for the classics.
If you live in the neighborhood, it's a great place for new releases and older movies - whatever your little heart desires on a cold Edmonton night. -

Sneak Preview is another independent movie store that shows why independently owned stores are great.
They don't follow whats popular and what's not. They aren't blockbuster or rogers video. They do carry the new stuff but they also offer indy movies, foreign films and classics. The majority of the movies here are older and not what you would expect. They have movies that you have probably never heard of but if you give them a chance you will appreciate them. The staff always has great suggestions so if you aren't sure just ask.
It's not the best rental store in town but it has tons to offer. -

i like the store and their selection. some of the staff is pretty friendly and talkative and all of them can give good advice. it's a little pricey, though, especially for the new releases.
