Very sweet campground. Private showers at the main building, flush toilets, clean/ample camp spaces and a pretty (if windy!) setting.
For $23/night for tenting, the value is reasonable too. Free firewood, but bring a hatchet because it's roughly chopped in very big chunks.
4 stars for all your regular stuff, but it was a little weird not to be checked in/greeted by anyone when we arrived in the middle of the day - instead, there's a list posted showing where your spot is (if you've reserved) and some envelopes for paying. We went to say "hi" when the office opened (it's open for an hour or so in the morning and at night), but I think the fellow thought it was really strange of us to do so, and he wasn't really into friendly small talk. I can't help but feel that you can't really give a 5 star review without having had any positive interaction with actual people who own or are employed by the business. You don't review vending machines, in other words, and our experience, though good, kind of felt like we rented our campsite at a vending machine.
