As with a lot of places, I became familiar with this pub due to its comedy show. The show ran some time ago and is long since defunct, the pub is still there and is one of the cosiest places to eat, house a party, or really just drink.
The main floor is pretty much like most other Brit-Style pubs with a standard menu, and a good tap list. The décor looks very rustic, retaining the old building style of what looks like an old stable or barn. The building is filled with old wood and barn-board. Great look.
The trick is upstairs if you have a party or a show, comedy or otherwise. A private bar, wooden floors, a snug at the back, stage, lighting, and sound make this a fantastic place for music, comedy, parties, everything. -

Nice irish gastropub with a good selection of beers on tap. Food was good, and really have no complaints. They have live music upstairs on Fridays and Saturdays, but place gets pretty busy later on. One of the better casual dining/drinking places to hang out in downtown Hamilton.

Superb pasta, cold Brit beer & a bartender that looks like heaven - what more could this guy want, eh? Oh great service & ambience too!!! Then upstairs to the cosy little second floor bar for Hamilton's first ever DemoCamp....great and well attended too! Congrats to Kevin Browne who leads with passion and the Innovation Factory and Ron for their sponsorship too!

Really delicious pub-style food. We went for lunch, and I got a really neat meal that came with a soup and a half-sandwich. I'm a light eater, so it was actually perfect for me, and relatively inexpensive. Also, the atmosphere is nice - laid back and comfortable, but still classy.
