I travel a couple times per month, so I'm not a newbie to airport cuisine. However, I was very much UNIMPRESSED with this establishment. We had to clear off a table to find suitable seating. When we got our order, which took nearly 20 minutes, the french fries were burned and the soup was merely warm. I think a place like this thrives because there's little repeat business. It could not possibly survive outside the airport, because the competition would force it to got out of business if it didn't improve.

I finally have an opportunity to post this... This is a very decent Chicago-style food; fast too - have your money ready. That WOULD normally bring the star-rating up, but I experienced horrible customer service. I got a chicken pita (very decent) that I thought was OK to take to the bar and eat. The bartender asked if I wanted a drink, and when I asked for water, she made a public/embarrassing deal about how the seats are reserved for cocktail drinkers. It was not terribly busy, but normal table seating was limited. There were plenty of seats at the bar. I also saw other people eating their meals with water, so I didn't see the big deal, especially since it was just about lunch time, and not really a busy happy hour time. I got a weird "ENJOY! SIT WITH YOUR WATER!" from the bartender. I didn't touch it. I ate part of my meal and left. I should've given her a Chicago salute...

Yay! A free hair in our omelette b-fast before take off. It's always nice to get a little something extra on the side.
Now, even though finding a long wiry hair in your food during pre take off time at the airport isn't the best way to start a romantic getaway, I found myself trying to look on the bright side so as to not put a damper on our date trip before it had even started.
So, in the spirit of being a Positive Patty and not a Debbie Downer, I'd like to list the things I'm thankful for.
A. I have to admit that pre-hair discovery, the omelettes were quite tasty.
B. Thank the lawdy, lawd that the hair was a long wiry and not a short curly. If there had to be a hair, at least it was an above the deltoid one. -

Thank goodness for Sky Bridge Restaurant!! After my disappointing meal at LAX, I arrived at O'Hare starved. Sky Bridge is located in Terminal 2 of O'Hare Intl Airport.
They're quick and reasonably priced. I had the quarter pounder with cheese, and it was pretty damn good. My friend had a very flavorful gyro.
Skip Chili's and eat here if you're ever in O'Hare. -

As Rosie C. was my traveling companion, I'd have to agree. Having this Mediteranean food in the airport was a treat! I'd take this over McD's and bland kiosk food anyday!
I ordered the gyro and fries. Very tasty. Kinda weird though because after I ordered it, I waited for them to call my number, but never did. I had to go up to the counter and tell them what I ordered. I was jet-lagged and a little direction would have helped! -

Just after noon on a Saturday, not a lot of seating, but for an airport restaurant you get a lot for your money. My gyro was fantastic, fries were fairly marginal. Food was served up fast. As a person who never travels, this was a good experience- in another 10 years when I fly again I'll probably get another gyro at the Sky Bridge.

I look forward to their excellent Italian Beef sandwich any time I pass through O'Hare. This place is above and beyond the typical airport fare.

Great restaurant in terminal 2 at O'Hare! Only restaurant that will serve you breakfast all day long aside from Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, or Great American Bagel. Most stop serving at 10a!
