Skinnyskinny is definitely ranked pretty high in my (mental) list of best smelling places. I wish that scent followed me wherever I went.
This is the kind of store that has a ton of stuff that you didn't know you wanted...such as a terrarium. I only really want it when I see one, because I don't think about it at all if it's not in front of me, hanging from the ceiling looking all pretty. They also have non-toxic nail polish in lots of awesome, fun colors, but $12.50 is a bit too steep for me. Oh, and they have candles that smell lovely, cute stationary stuff, and a very friendly female dog!Listed in: williamsburg !

Not impressed with their body soap. Left film on the body (yes I remembered to rinse!). I also purchased the exfoliating body scrub for a friend, and it leaked all over and they wouldn't return it.
All in all a bad experience.
Aloha is nearby with better products that are cheaper with better customer service (I probably should post this on Aloha :-)) -

Stopped in here just to browse and see if there was anything i'd like for the BF. He's oh so into the organic thing, and Skinnyskinny has there hands in the organic pot. Plus they have a lot of stuff you might not have seen at other organick-y stores about the city.
I would like to see more liquid soap and lotions---they had more of body "oils" which i'm not crazy about, however, they have a good selection of bar soap, and beautiful recycled glass shower containers to put the soap into.
also they have an assortment of succulents in the glass jars that are popular, with some really beautiful greeting cards, a bit of chocolate made nearby.
stop in you might walk out 40$ more poor like i did when you see that you like everything they have! -

Such a cute shop! When entering the store you are suddenly welcomed by an amazing aroma! I have their Sweet Basil and Lemon candle so my apartment can almost smell as amazing as the shop.
I needed a lotion and they introduced me to SkinnySkinny's Body Butter. Perfect for the winter time. My hands were instantly soothed and soft. I highly recommend it. I then found out that ALL their products are completely organic and vegan friendly, not to mention made in the store! I couldn't believe it!
I have heard about their dry shampoos and cannot wait to try them.
I am so glad I came along this place, I will definitely be back. I cannot imagine my life without this Body Butter! -

Okay, so here's the SKINNY:
Clara, the owner, is pure brilliance. I love EVERYTHING in this shop. Here are my faves:
Coffee Body Scrub- nothing better to glam up those gams and also get a fresh wake up call in the shower-- note: not to be consumed by mouth.
Blood Orange and Lemon Soap- sooo refreshing. I dream about this smell!
Clementine and Clove candles- with over 60 hours of burn, how can you go wrong?!
They also make bar soap for dogs- I believe it is called "Fetching." For my furry friends that have tried it, they give it 100% tail wag.
Great for gifts (especially the ones you give to yourself!!!!). -

I've walked by here numerous times on the way to the train, and the people in the store have always been nice and pressure-free; I finally bought the dry shampoo, which is excellent: as another reviewer says, you only need a small amount, it smells wonderful, and best of all, you can sleep late!
They make all their body products here, and they're all natural. They also gave me a sample sliver of the "Fetching" dog shampoo, which I have yet to try--on my dog; I have a feeling I'd like it pretty well on me as well. (There's a natural-formula dog shampoo whose slogan is: "Only tested on us and our kids.")
They also have hemp dog leashes and other accessories; all their packaging is sustainable and/or recycled.Listed in: Brooklyn, the forgotten…

I was given a present from here a month ago- a Mere candle made from a beer bottle witha 'fresh greens ' scent. I don't often get excited about candles but this scent, it's ability to burn forever, and it makes my room smell dope even when it's not lit .
I recently purchased their new line of 'dry shampoo'. It's amazing. I have big hair and it's so tiresome to blow dry, etc.. It smells delicious- I got theblack pepper & rose and its the best rose scent i've ever inhaled (& deeply). It also helps with styling which is a bonus i was greatfull for.
Their line of non toxic nail polish- only one coat the most brilliant of colors. I picked up 'rabbit tracks' , 'st.catherine's lace' and the 'lady killer crocus'.
The coffee body scrub is better than any coffee scent i've ever come across and i am in the coffee business.
Great present stuffs! Do It! -

Great shop! Organic body and home products made right in the store. The products that aren't are made in the store are from stores or companies based in Brooklyn! Clara the owner is awesome and is usually there chilling with her dog. One of my go-tos for gifts!

Dry shampoo, anyone? I popped into skinnyskinny last week after hearing about their fabulous dry shampoo and voila.....I am a believer! The rose and black pepper dry shampoo smells lovely and a little goes a long way. I'm definitely going back to pick up some of those wonderful soaps.
