Review from Bradley C.
Vancouver, BC
Before heading to the ferry back to Vancouver, we stopped off at Sita's - we had noticed it while cruising down the hill into Gibsons. And what a shame if we had missed it!
We were greeted with smiles and seated on the patio, which has a great view overlooking Gibsons Landing and the ocean. The perfect end to a perfect Sunshine Coast weekend!
The service was prompt and friendly. Our server mentioned that it was her first training shift, but she was so personable that we wouldn't have realised it.
And the food....just amazing! Every menu item sounded so good that it was hard to make the choice! We finally selected the Shrimp Penne with Artichokes and the West Coast Spag (? sorry - not sure about the name). Both were just delicious, and very satisfying.
Sita's will definitely be on the agenda during our next trip to the Sunshine Coast! -

Excellent Pasta, great view, friendly staff, great prices. Some of the best pasta I've had outside of Italy.
Try the Zita Sita- most amazing combination of flavours.

Fresh from scratch Italain sausages, Focaccia, sauces, Tiramisu and much more. Twenty - eight seat lounge, full bar, one hundred plus seating capacity along with a private banquet room. Looking for an upbeat place to eat on the Sunshine Coast ? Give us a go ! Reservations not really necessary unless you have a large group to accommodate.
History
Established in 2008
Sita's Spag & Suds featuring home style Italian cooking, is now located in upper Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast. Our love for food, family, and great times is reflected in our fun, friendly atmosphere. Dino and Marilynne Sita met here on the Sunshine Coast way back in 1977 when good friend Art Dew brought Dino to Gibsons for a weekend shaker. The rest is history. Dino and Marilynne were married on the coast in November 1983 but spent their first twelve years together in Vancouver working for Jostens Canada. Thoughts of fulfilling their life-long dream of opening their own restaurant brought them back to Gibsons, Marilynne's home town.
As many of you know their first successful venture was The Old Boot Eatery Ltd. in Sechelt, started by Dino in 1995. After selling his interest in The Boot to brother Dan in 2006, Dino and Marilynne decided to create another friendly, energetic dining spot for friends and families in Gibsons.
