A very quaint, little used bookstore in Sherwood Park. The books are arranged in alphabetical order by author, and mostly consist of paperback fiction, but also genre fiction (Christian, mystery, etc.) and non-fiction. I picked up a biography of Che Guevara that I have been looking for, as well as another book on the same topic that I never even knew about. That is what I love about used bookstores - the little gems and treasures you can find. The books are in good condition, prices are around one half of the new prices, the store does 50/50 cash/trades, and will always take their own books back, so leave the price labels on them. There is also a small coffee and snack bar. The owners were on holidays and the staff person taking care of things was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when she saw it was my first time in the store. I will definitely be back.

Silver's BookShoppe buys sells and trades quality used fiction and non fiction paper backs and select hard cover books. We believe in recycling and providing the books you purchase from us are kept in good condition, we guarantee to take our own books back in trade. We welcome books from other book stores and are willing to consider them for trade or purchase.

Silver's BookShoppe is a family owned business that opened July 1, 2008. We celebrate our anniversary every Canada Day with free cake, coffee and a book sale! The book store stems from our love of books and desire to serve the community in which we live.
