Ok so Shoppers is definitely not the cheapest drugstore around but I think they can justify being a tad more expensive as they carry a couple product lines that you can't find anywhere else, like Soap and Glory.
This Shoppers is my particular favorite as it has a large cosmetics counter area and the staff is really nice and helpful. They make recommendations that actually work and aren't just pushing you to buy. Its a much more welcoming environment then the tradtional cosmetics counter.
So ya, Shoppers rocks! -

Toronto, ON
Not as diverse in their selection as the one on Sherbourne and Isabella Streets or the one by the corner of Yonge and College Streets, this Shoppers location serves the Yorkville area with their drugstore needs. There are about two other locations south of this store, but this store outranks them in ambience and selection. Grocery section is ample enough to add an extra star.

This is Canada's biggest drugstore chain and it is rather large. Especially this one. Lots of selection here from food and drink goodies to all sorts of pharmaceutical items from their Life brand. Prices? Eh. Not fantastic but I haven't really found a drug store in Canada where the prices are really cheap. Still, this is usually my first stop if I need Health and Beauty aids in Toronto.
