My wife uses a number of medications that require compliance packaging (also known as blister packs). We decided to use Shoppers this month instead of our usual pharmacy.
The medications were correct but not placed in the proper compartments. The fact my wife is a pharmacist meant this was not a huge deal. Had she been less knowledgeable about her medications, this could have posed a significant problem.
When we were picking up the prescriptions, the lady helping us was unable to locate them. The clerk then moved on to help another customer without making sure someone else was helping us. Eventually someone did help us. However we were delayed much more than necessary.
Today a the pharmacy faxed a refill request to a local doctor. This was not requested and we have no idea why it was done.
For a pharmacy, Shoppers in Stony Plain is extremely disorganized. I do not recommend them. Especially not for those who are using multiple medications.
