So after living in downtown toronto for almost 6 years i, with my lovely girlfriend, decided to embrace our inner tourist and take the shop dine tour of toronto.
we hopped on at the AGO, which was amazing... seeing as i live across the street. it was a little more expensive than i thought it would be $33 each, ( *NOTE: the ticket is valid for a week. so you can ride it again and again. ) but it was well worth it.
The tour guides were very entertaining, and i actually learned some interesting things about toronto. Notably at casa loma the builder was a little crooked and managed to get all the building materials for his own house for free in a sneaky deal he made with the owner...
it seems that once you've lived in a place for awhile you take for granted all the wonderful fun things the city has to offer. So get out there and be a tourist for a day! Trust me... you'll love it.
