I think this might be my new favourite clothing / Accessories store. The environment is really easy going and they have a good mix of local brands. I found the prices really affordable, especially given the quality. I ended up buying a wallet by Gaya Vancouver and wood/silver earrings by Billy Would. I get compliments on both items all the time. The staff knows all the details about the products and were super friendly.

Shop Cocoon is appealing, pretty and affordable. They have a diverse range of designers that I believe also staff the store, and they are knowledgeable and helpful.
The store is minimalist but there is a lot to look at, including the awesome Billy Would jewelry others have mentioned. I like that there are pieces to wear that are casual, evening and also I've found a couple of great skirts for work. The overall look is refined, relaxed and lovely, and I enjoy dropping by when I'm in the neighborhood. -

If I were a girlie-girl I would shop here (and, I am a closeted girlie girl, just so ya know.)
This adorable little boutique is the platform for a collective of local designers. So cute are the dresses and tops and jackets. I enjoyed the collection of necklaces and earrings showcasing one of a kind-ish pieces crafted by local jewelers.
Definitely gift friendly! -

Love this cute little shop! Lots of unique winter coats, pretty dresses, and funky jewlery. I adored every piece for its creativity and originality. There was a gorgeous 'Granted' chunky wool zip up sweated that I absolutely adored. Handmade, 100% wool. This one had two cerulean blue deer motifs on the front. Very cute. I had my eye on another black Elroy jacket.
Before I bought anything, I needed to justify my purchases, so I sadly left the store to go home and contemplate. -

When I set out to explore Cambie Village, I was pleasantly surprised to find this chic little boutique down the road. You probably won't like everything but it's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area (women only).
I like dru's designs there, and the fact that it's mostly staffed by the designers themselves. Yay local. -

Hurrah for the renaissance of Cambie after the construction! I stumbled across Cocoon about a year ago while taking a break from my laptop at Beans.
Cocoon's concept is to provide a place for local designers to sell their clothes and jewelry -- sort of like Twigg & Hottie but all Vancouver designers. It's a lot of the stuff you'd see at Portobello West, except that it's open every day (except Monday). I love the Elroy jackets, and the Mother Trucker t-shirts. Love Politely Pink as well. The jewelry is fun -- liked the Cat's Ass Designs stuff there.
Really love the concept of supporting local designers -- there's great work being done here in Vancouver. Now if only local designers would make more tailored clothes that I could wear to work, too -- unfortunately the designers featured at Cocoon have a pretty casual aesthetic. -

Definitely one of the sweetest stores I've come upon in a long time. I agree that its a girly boutique! Their inventory seems to update often and they have a terrific assortment of clothes and accessories at very reasonable price-points. I would also recommend Cocoon to anyone looking for a gift.

Stumbled upon this cute boutique after brunch at Stella's on Cambie. Yum. The shop owner had great taste and made good suggestions on how to put together the outfit. I left with some accessories and a gift certificate for my friend. Definitely suggest checking out Shop Cocoon.
