I love the new decor!
There a lot of sushi places in the Niagara Region and I tried most of them and I can say that Shibuki always had the upper hand in regards to the quality of the food.
Now that they have completely re-decorated it has become my favorite place for sushi bar-none. A great place to entertain clients for lunch and a romantic place for dinner with my wife.
I am a Fan. -

The new look is crisp, elegant and modern. As always the service is dead slow, but once the food arrives, it wonderful. The signature shibuki roll is a knockout.

Review from Maggie J.
I went here in September, 2011 while on vacation to Niagara Falls with my boyfriend. Upon first impression, we weren't even sure if we were at the right place. We found it online and used GPS to get there. But it's not very well marked. It's in a strip mall and it has a storefront covered by an awning. The only sign is on the storefront, not above the awning. Once you get inside though... wow! It's gorgeous! We had a slow start, however, because they hadn't yet received their liquor license and so couldn't serve saki, they were also out of the first two appetizers we tried to order. Finally, though, we got pork dumplings which were very good. Then we ordered a California roll, a rainbow roll, and a spicy salmon with cream cheese roll, all to share. and oh... my..... god...... there are no words to describe how delicious this food was. I have had sushi at a few places and I always thought the California roll would be my favorite, but the rainbow roll blows it out of the water! To give you an idea of how satisfying it was, my boyfriend and I both found ourselves intentionally chewing slower to make it last longer, and then we ordered another order each of the rainbow roll and spicy salmon with cream cheese to go so we could have it in our hotel room and eat it for the next day. If you appreciate sushi, you must go here!
PS - it's not called "shibuki" anymore, it is now called Ho Tei.
