    Excellent hotel.
Excellent location, the staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.
    Really great stay overall.
My only complaint would be the $25 per night parking charge - but at least you get to go in and out as often as you'd like.

Not for a work traveller. The only parking available is valet for $25 a day. A rip off as I'm here on work and need to go a I please. Worst part is not having a choice which is ridiculous.

This hotel has been beat up in the reviews and I'll admit, my first and second choices were booked. So, I stayed at the Sheraton based on location and gambled regarding the room. I was super kind sucking up to the front desk agent, so she gave me a king Club level room which was really nice.

My rate included breakfast for 2, but since we were 3, they threw in an extra breakfast buffet. The Pub was nice, even if the Canucks lost and people were depressed, the staff was super friendly and the room was in an excellent location.

The Chateau Laurier and Westin were booked -- the reservation people said my trip coincided with the Tulip Festival -- so it was the Sheraton  for me.

My room was large, quiet and comfortable.  Excellent shower, comfortable bed, quiet a/c, big screen TV, and plenty of light over the sink.  Great location for jogging.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The gym was ok but not a standout.

    I didn't try the restaurant.

Located in the heart of Canada's capital, the hotel is about 15 minutes from the Ottawa International Airport and about 15 minutes walk to Parliament Hill.

    PROS:
-24-hour valet parking service is available ($20 for each night)
-Offers Wi-Fi access (have to ask the manager to open the door, your door card does not work)
    -Swimming pool
    -Dry steaming room
    -Gym
-Near the Rideau Canal (15 mins)
-Hotel offers 236 spacious and luxurious guest rooms and suites
    -Location is really convenient
-Quick on check in and out
    -Friendly service with greeting
    -Clean most of the part
-Close to Parliament Hill (about three blocks)

    CONS:
    -Albert street is a one-way
-Tipping for getting the car and service each time
-Small gym, pool, and steam room (not that busy)
-No power air vent in the washroom
-Not very clean for one bed because my brother told me it itches.
-Only floor number two is for ice machine. If you are in level 2 or more. You have to take a elevator to go get ice and waits.

    OVERALLS:
It's a OK and a standard hotel. We checked into the Sheraton for a 2 nights stay over the Feb for the Winterlude, ice skating on the Rideau Canal, Drama Arts (plays), The Canadian War Museum, The Canadian Museum of Civilization, IMAX, party, clubs, and bar hoping.

it met most of my expectations because it was clean, convenient, the service was good, and deal for two nights. Nothing about it was really outstanding so I think it is a reasonable choice for the price, which was lower than most other places I looked at in the same area. This is a decent mid-range hotel.
