I have cable.... but the "so old it was done 5 years ago you and your ancient techology" kind of cable. After I upgrade my tv to a nice 42" LCD last year talk of upgrading the cable started.
Ahhh... digital or HD? I don't care, I really don't watch TV, as long as it works when I turn it on I'm cool with whatever.
Then Shaw made one of the typically annoying marketing calls with some promo on digital. And since neither my boyfriend nor I had to action anything but just agree we signed up. They are shipping me my box, no annoying "someone will be there between 9am and 5pm maybe on Tuesday in three or four weeks", and they have a line I just need to ring when I set it up to activate.
Swish! Now hopefully the install and activation is as easy as ordering it was. -

UUUUGGGGHHHHHH...so as I stated in my previous review...after waiting for ever and getting the run around....they needed to call me back with a time the cable man/woman would show up...well guess what...they didn't call...SHOCKING!!
So, I called and once again was on hold...this time for only 16mins and as I explained why I was calling she pulled up my file and you know what??? They was no record that I had called 2 days ago......breathe...just breathe Kreag.....
me : I need to speak to a manager ....NOW.
Shaw: Sir, I am sure I can help you...
Me: NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!! (this is where I turned green and my eyes went red)
Finally a manager came on the line... I have to give him snaps for actually being quite helpful and setting up the appointment for me...
I'm thinking I might open a cable company....Listed in: Just Skip It
