I thought I wrote a review for Sharkeys but I guess I didn't. This place has the best hot lunch of all the restaurants in the quay. $6.95 is the sweet spot for lunches and it shows with the regular customers that line up. Every day the menu changes so you'll never get bored with the menu. If you ever get the chance to try the pilaf, be sure to get it. Fav dish of mine is the honey garlic glazed short ribs. To be honest, I'm eating it right now as I chomp on this paprika chicken.
Service is excellent, all the staff there are super friendly and i've yet to have a bad meal. -

Sharkeys is one of the few perks for me when it comes to working on the North Shore. I'm a downtown girl at heart, but no where downtown can you find an excellent "home cooked" meal for lunch like you do here!
When buying lunch most days of the week, its hard to stay healthy and make good choices. Sharkey's makes it easier - I usually stick with whatever lean protein they have (roast chicken, etc...) and the mixed veggies. Best part is I leave feeling both full annnnnddd satisfied - completely guilt free! =D
Their meatloaf has to be one of my favorite things to eat at the quay, and they always have a good selection of sides to compliment - rice, mashed potatoes, veggies, mac & cheese. However, nobody's perfect and I have had the occasional pork chop where the only moisture to be found in each bite was from the sauce it was coated in. -

Searching for a dinner inspiration I decided to take the sea bus over to Lonsdale yesterday and strolling through the market hall. After getting a nice fruit salad which would be my dessert later I discovered Sharkeys Chophouse & Deli.
They had an excellent lunch/dinner combo which reminded me on a meal my grandma used to cook back home. Glazed Ham, Mashed Potatos, Gravy and Vegetable. Yum! It was so delicious! And that for 7$, what a steal!
The best is, they serve it on a real plate and with real cutlery and not one of these gross plastic trays.
They also have fresh meat and other stuff if you look to stock your fridge at home.
I will definitely be back!! -

What is a "Montreal Burger" ?
Well, let me tell you. It's a very lean, single serving Meatloaf/Burger!
How I know this?
I bought some for dinner at Sharky's today.
Having no dinner plans, I was browsing the food displays in the Quay when these very interesting patties caught my eye like
-Holy Cow! what's THAT?
They are cloaked in peppers of all sorts and almost festive looking. I was really curious!
They cook up very lean, so it's nothing but flavour and protein, baby!
Sharky's has a lot of really nice looking meats. No shortage of meal plans there.
Now all ll I needed were some veggies to complete the meal.
