Had a great hair cut and colour here, with some highlights as well. It looked really good and I was quite happy with the customer service. However, went to rebook a follow-up cut a couple of months later and was told that the stylist had left the salon. This happened to me on four separate occasions in Kelowna. Seems as if salons are not paying their stylists enough to keep them on staff. I heard on more than one occasion that the truly great stylists get headhunted by other companies. Can't say I blame them, but it's hard on customers who have to keep switching stylists every few months.

I came into shapers to get my hair straightened and cut, now I am the first to admit I have a difficult head of hair to work with , but when I left it was clear that my hair was worse than when I went in and was frizzy and unevenly cut on top of it !
After I voiced my dissatisfaction the "master stylist" basically shrugged her shoulders and continued to charge me $100 dollars an hour. although the website advertises 85. I guess that what throwing "master" in front of your name gets you.
Perhaps if your looking for a ghetto roller set then shapers would be your place but I cannot recommend them for even the slightest of trims.
I don't usually take the time out of my day to write reviews of basically anything but I feel people need fair warning of this place!
Shapers could quite possible be the worst salon in the Okanagan on par with a magic cuts and I apologize to magic cuts for the unfair comparison.
