The staff are wonderful, the place is cool and funky. Hands down the best hair cut I've ever had was done there by David.
Getting an appointment was quick and easy. A little pricey, but totally worth every penny.
Love the line of hair products they use too. Bumble and Bumble I think. -

Absolutely wonderful! I love Shampoo Hair Bar.
This funky, welcoming salon has a great staff and wonderful service. As a Bumble & Bumble salon, they really know their stuff when it comes to the products, but they won't try to oversell you on something you don't need.
I've always loved my cut and colour treatment. As a regular of Amy, I cannot recommend her enough. And the rest of the staff come highly recommended, as well. I've never seen a person leave looking less than fabulous.
Prices are on the pricey side of normal for a good salon. However, the results are more than worth it and they often offer new clients discount coupons.
There is also a great selection of locally made accessories at the front desk that are beyond tempting and reasonably priced.
Specialties
We specialize in all aspects of hairdressing, plus we have someone who can do make-up for that special occasion (weddings and such).
History
Established in 2006
Shampoo has been in Fairfield since we opened in 2006. We figured the downtown core had its share of good salons, so we opted to open just outside Cook Street Village. We hoped to bring fantastic service, great style and a comfortable experience to our clients (and I think we've succeded). Since then we've become a Bumble and bumble exclusive salon and renovated to expand the number of stations.
