5 reviews for Seymour's Pub

Woohoo! I've upgraded my review to 5*
On a return trip I was really impressed with the service and the kitchen was entirely accommodating to my dietary needs.
I had a delicious salad with Sirloin strips with a Balsamic Vinaigrette. The big guy had an appetizer of what they called Black Bean Cigars. Baked Tortillia rolls with cheese and black bean inside. He enjoyed that, and our friend had a rather large burger. The bun was toasted and the pattie was thick and juicy. -Drool.
We sat in a room that had a glass roof and a two sided fireplace. This place is perfect for an after hike munch. Bonus, it's close to highway 1 and there is plenty of parking. The big game was starting and the place was filling with CFL fans. The screens are big and the sound is great.

Well I had always wondered about the restaurant and bar over here at the Holiday Inn. This is a… Read more »
Service was awesome, food was awesome, and wings are delicious (and only $5/pound between 3-6pm).
Why two stars? Well there were so many flies/gnats at the bar that I couldn't even watch the hockey game without being distracted every two seconds. There were a lot of them and I was just thinking about how they must fly into the food when it's being served, drinks when they're served/poured, and my mouth when I'm not looking. yuck.
Expensive.
Black bean cigars - tasty
Alredo pesto chicken pasta - passable
Perogies - tasty
Veggie burger - ok
Service? Crap. Also they don't have debit.
I only give it three stars for the perogies and black bean cigars.
Uninspiring neighbourhood pub. Nothing memorable about the place.
Nice Pub for a group or to watch the game, oh and play pool as well... The river rock fireplace is a warming feature, Typical pub food yawn!! good service. They have a cold beer wine store attached...
