First time visit for the work Christmas party, but was very impressed with the set menu. Had wild mushroom app to start, steak entree and citrus cheescake to finish. Excellent quality food here, cooked to perfection with a very nice ambiance. Couldn't tell you price wise how it adds up since work covered the costs, but I would definetely go back regardless and try this place again. According to the previous review prices are steep....I could see that.

I attended this restaurant for mothers day brunch with my wife and kids. This was a really poor brunch experience. When we walked in there was no hostess to greet us and explain how long it would take to seat us we got to our table and waited to be asked for drink for ..... I don't know how long we would have waited we had to ask the bar tender twice for drinks. After the first round of the buffet the eggs Benedict were cold and so was the roast beef. The ham was ......... Inedible , it's was full of fat and also cold. It seemed like there smoked salmon was taken out of a package but It would taste better if it was. The service was nonexistent , plates piled up on our table and the bill was a slap in the face checking in at a whopping 300 dollars for 5 people at brunch with just coffee to drink. Over all I feel robbed of and violated and will not return to this restaurant again.

I have eaten here several times and am never disappointed. I think it's the nest restaurant in Hamilton. A remodeled bank (still has a vault) with a short and evolving menu with something for everyone (red meat, poultry, seafood and vegetarian items most nights). I'd say the food is French influenced, bistro style. The service is excellent. Good wine list. Not cheap but worth it.
