Great service! Made me feel special. I've never had such painless waxing done before. I'll be going here again

Massage was more like a "rub down" than a real relaxing massage.  Equipment in the massage room was antiquated.  The environment left much to be desired.  I would not go back again.

My massage therapist did not apply enough pressure and did not work on my problem areas (neck/shoulder/back) with any degree of determination.  The table that I was lying on needed the head rest to be adjusted downwards, but that was not possible "in this room" (stated my therapist).  As a result, when he worked on my neck/shoulder area, the head rest started to press into my neck making me feel very uncomfortable to the point of choking.  I was unable to relax and even by the end of the massage, I was still tight.  No music (spa or otherwise) was played in the rooms, making it a very awkward one hour.

The environment was also seriously lacking.  The massage room was very dated and old.  We were not directed to any waiting area and sat outside by the reception for the 15 minutes prior to our massage.  The receptionist was friendly, but a little too chatty.

If you are looking for relaxation and a good massage, look elsewhere.  Will not return.

    Would not recommend going here.

Took my girlfriend for a couples massage and it was not a good experience.

The receptionist was not polite, there were no lockers with keys so we were told to carry our belongings to our massage, pool was freezing, hot tub was mediocre, and massage was sub par.

On top of all of this there was construction going on in the building as a soundtrack.

For a superior experience go to: stillwater, hamam, shizen spa or novo spa

Make SURE you do not book an appointment while the hotel is renovating. There were constant sawing noises throughout my hour facial that made for a horrible experience. I explained being extremely annoyed and uncomfortable by the noise but the employee I talked to didn't give me any kind of a discount. That's unnerving. A spa is supposed to be a place you go to relax!

Aside from this, the woman who did my facial did a really good job and my face and neck felt refreshed. She was also very kind and attentive.

Altogether, the place has a nice atmosphere. The area was dim and had a relaxing smell and music. I would have rated this place 4.5 stars if that horrible noise didn't ruin my experience. That, and how the woman I talked to about it wasn't listening or gave me compensation really made me mad.

Not coming back until they get their act together.

The therapist I had was ok.. a bit lazy and didn't quite understand that I wanted my glutes massaged. She wouldn't do it! I bike.. I'd like to prevent cellulite.. The glutes could benefit like all other major muscle groups but she wouldn't do it. If she knew about massage THERAPY then maybe she would have a clue and not take it some wrong way. As if! Not a fan. The massage was ok but because of that one therapist I don't think I'd go back. It's not worth the money and there are nicer facilities available. I'm a tough critic though, but I've also gone for my fair share of massages so I have lots of experience to compare it to.

Ahhh spa in my hotel. Purrfect! What is not to like about being steps away from relaxation and pampering? LoVED it! I decided to get a facial which was ohhh so nice. Linda advised me on how to care for my damaged Chicago skin and then pampered my skin into what I imagine it must have felt like when I was 5. Linda=great Esthetician. Do it! Your face will thank you for it by mouthing "thank you" in the mirror while you pat your oh so soft face. YEAH!

I decided to have a "me" day last weekend. I was interested in a 90 minute massage and facial. I checked out all of the spas in the city (Hamman, Stillwater etc) and could not believe the prices. I found Senses Spa at the Sheraton Centre. The prices were literally half of the other spas I was looking at. Exact same service! My massage was incredible. I've never had a facial before so I didn't know what to expect. WOW, talk about relaxing. I actually fell asleep for a few minutes during the facial. I walked out of there feeling refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend Senses spa. The prices are affordable. Sure, it doesn't  have the cache of an upscale spa but when you're lying on the table being worked on, who really cares where you are as long as the service is good.
