I was on vacation and wanted a little treat for my toes so I booked an essential pedicure.
I was able to get a same-day appointment (not sure how often that happens).
The reception area of the spa is tucked in the corner of a women's clothing store in Confederation Court Mall. The treatment area itself is down a flight of stairs which might make the spa not accessible to some.
My pedicure was excellent. My appointment started on time. The aesthetician was professional, taking my cue of not talking too much. And, to my joy, the pedicure was on a bed in a treatment room allowing for complete relaxation. The spa is an Aveda concept spa so all the skin care products were from Aveda while the polish was my favourite, OPI.
If you go with a friend or a large group, you can request the recliners which allow you to chat while having your service performed.
Overall, the pleasant environment, good service and reasonable price of $45 left me happy and with handsome looking feet. I'd definitely recommend Senses.
