This place is a hoot. Run by a quirky Vietnamese couple, both the service and sushi are memorable. The fish is fresh, the rice perfectly done, and the prices are pretty easy on the wallet, almost half the price of their competitors. Not a lot of tables and usually the people who you'll find here are loyal repeat customers. The owners are hard working and have got it figured out. If I lived near Lonsdale I'd probably be here every week.

This place is decent quality sushi at a really decent price. I was thankful upon discovering this place randomly.
They have reasonably price combos (around less than $7 price range) which lets you choose your choice of rolls.
The ingredients are fresh and the rolls are not overstuffed with too much rice.
The restaurant is a small hole in the wall run by a friendly couple.
Unfortunately, as of present, we can not enjoy this restaurant anymore as this restaurant is closed. -

We had some fried tofu and eggplant here while we ordered the Veggie party box. It was all good!
This sushi is exactly how I like it. Ok decor (in fact, not sure if there was a bathroom or not) really tasty sushi and friendly service.

If you love top quality food at 3rd world prices, Sen Sushi is magic. This hole-in-the-wall on upper Lonsdale makes mind-blowingly good food, with top quality fresh ingredients, zero pretension and a touch of the artisan.
If avoiding sushi places that would ever put farmed salmon on the menu is a no-brainer for you; or if you are the type that considers the difference between soggy tempura drenched in oil vs. crisp light batter of a perfect consistency just a starting point, then you'll appreciate Sen Sushi far exceeds these minimum standards. Sen is all quality and deliciousness. But beyond sushi, their tuna tataki in black sesame sauce is amazing, I am addicted to their sockeye salmon belly and would travel across town for their dragon roll - which is twice the quality of any competitors at half the price. I love this place.
But dont tell anyone about it. Tiny places with amaZing food and great prices are best kept secret. -

Good prices for fairly fresh sushi. Not much here in terms of decor.
Service is efficient.
If you are in the area and in the mood for Sushi - this could be the place. -

I love this place. They have a nice selection of sushi, combos, and the prices are unbeatable! It is run by a lovely couple, who are extremely friendly and efficient. 10% discount if you call one hour ahead. They are also very accommodating in doing substitutions.

Small quaint spot, but service was fantastic and sushi is very unique and creative. If you want to experiment with different varieties of sushi at a great price, this is the place to come. They're always updating their menu with creative new items. Love this place.
