Yelp helped me find Sejuiced when searching "Juice Smoothy Bar Vancouver". Thanks Yelp - what a great spot!
When you first enter, it smells so good you can't imagine you're in a healthy restaurant. The plates of food coming from the kitchen to be served looked so yummy. Portions were generous, too.
I went looking for a smoothie without all the sugar that most places pack in there and I found a great selection at Sejuiced. I tried the "Stamina Power" smoothie -- totally yummy. I also got a bag of kale chips and, without a word of a lie, I could actually munch away on these at movie-time as my boyfriend eats a bag of lays and NOT feel deprived!
The only thing I would improve is the number of locations. I'm gonna need you to open up in Downtown, North Van and perhaps in Coquitlam/Port Moody. :) -

I went here yesterday for lunch, and expecting the "Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Vancouver", I was very underwhelmed.
They have a great food and juice menu. My mom ordered the Veggie Burger Wrap, and I the Power House Quinoa bowl. We also ordered 2 juices - one with spinach and carrots, the other with beetroot.
The service was nice, and the atmosphere was not bad as well. You have to get your own water and such, but it wasn't an issue. My only honest upset was the food and juices.
The drinks, I've made better at home. The beetroot juice although supposedly packed with ingredients just tasted like... beets. Not sweet, and slightly bitter. The other juice was alright, but again, I could have easily made a better version at home. So for 5 bucks a pop, these were a fair bit disappointing.
My mom's wrap left much to be desired, and WASN'T vegan (contained honey), so I'm taking her word for it. From the inside she showed me, it was a lot of lettuce with a little bit of other fillings here and there. My bowl was... not something I'd order again. The peanut carrot dressing was not very good. It just had a really strange flavour I wasn't fond of. It was fine with the veggies and quinoa, and I was very full by the end. The hardest part to eat was the tempeh they tossed it with. Thank god the pieces were scarce, because it was so unpleasant, I had to eat it was a bunch of veggies just to get it down.
I don't think I'll be heading there any time soon, but if I do, I'll be guaranteed to order something else. I don't think it should be a chore to eat my food. -

The food here is all right. It's a pretty small cafe so that's fine I guess if you don't go during peak times.
I didn't like the sound of any of their raw food dishes so settled on the veggie burger instead. Generally raw food recipes should be kept simple, or made by someone who knows what it should taste like and do taste testing on each batch. So I skipped that.
We got a Thai burger and daily soup. It was decent, but there is not a lot of flavour in it. Most veggie burgers are all right, nothing amazing in general. This place is close by our house so we go there occasionally.
I have a juicer and Vitamix at home so I would never pay for a juice or smoothie there. It's way too expensive and I can make much better at home. They serve the juices all frothy and they are pretty bland.
The menu could use a little pizaz and be more inventive. But maybe this is what their clientele like? Standby's they can count on?
Not sure. I feel like this place is the epitome of vegetarian restaurants. Home style bland food that you can make better at home, and is generally over priced. Nothing on their menu screams delicious. -

It appears everyone else feels the same - Sejuiced is delicious. It's even sometimes mysteriously steamy in there, like the health is seeping in through your skin while you read the menu and place an order.
Food: I have had a bowl, it was not as memorable as their wraps! The Greek Wrap is creamy, full of tzatziki, and has really nice tofu that almost gets away like chicken. Drinks: Blueberry, Mango, Bannana = The Blue Lagoon. Or simple Orange, Carrot, Lime freshly squeezed. Extras: They have cleansing tonics with cabbage in them, wheatgrass shots, and many more additions I personally know nothing about.
I always feel great grabbing a lunch after yoga here!! -

Sejuiced is one of the few places I don't feel bad eating at often. They have really healthy AND tasty food and the best smoothies/blender drinks ever.
Smoothie/blender drinks: they use the actual fruits/veggies and aren't filled with syrups and sugary juices. There are so many different drinks you can get and not all are sweet-some are tart, sour, creamy, etc... it always takes me awhile to decide... Their 'tonic' drinks are also really neat and a good option in case you need an energy boost, detox or just recovering from a cold or hangover.
Food: They have various vegetarian salads, soups, burgers and power rice or quinoa bowls. They have a delicious peanut sauce and you can opt for tofu or tempeh as a protein option. Their power bowls are hearty, filled with veggies and come out steaming hot - I love it hot!
Their veggie burgers are delicious. Their patties are made in house and kinda crumble a little when you eat it-I like this because I feel like it's less processed and filled with more natural ingredients unlike the veggie patties that you buy in a grocery store.
Atmosphere: the restaurant is bright but small and doesn't have a lot of seating... Maybe enough for 16 people but it would be really cramped. There are also a couple spots outside. It's a great place for a quick and healthy meal but no ambiance so it's not ideal for a long or intimate meal.
Desserts: they also some many dessert alternatives, ex vegan, such as bliss balls and various bars. Yum!
Price: they are a little pricey but it's not extreme and I feel okay paying a little more for quality ingredients. -

Bright and uplifting with its coloured walls, this small smoothie/sandwich shop offers delicious, nourishing menu items - a perfect pit stop for West 4th shoppers. Though its enthusiasts may be more of the yogi, vegetarian or health-concise type, the food is well-portioned, tasty, satisfying and would be a delight for most.
My girlfriend and I shared the Power House Yogi Bowl (Highly recommend!) and the Deluxe Burger, plus the Exotica and First Kiss smoothie. The smoothies were recommended, but were a little too sweet for my liking. Lots of other great options to choose from for next time!
I will defs be back.
What's more:
- They have hangover smoothie cures ;)
- You're getting quality food, but prices do feel a wee bit steep
- Currently, not much ambiance to Sejuiced. Background music would do it wonders!
- Similar to: Radha Yoga, The Foundation, Naam (in terms of nourishing, healthy restaurant spots to eat guilt-free and/or gluten-free) -

With a whimpering liver (Tales Of The Cocktail--so worth it), I'm craving my favourite hangover remedy, the 'Liver Cleanser'. With freshly-juiced organics such as beets, apples and ginger, it burns all the way down and roundhouse kicks my nausea to oblivion. Just what the doctor (doctor mom?) ordered.
Sejuiced is a little sunshine of a vegan/vegetarian cafe on West 4th. It's small, bright, colourful and happy with a few tables so you can eat-in. Watch the staff make smoothies--these are made fresh to order in every sense of the word.
Hook yourself up with some regret-free fast food! -

Sejuiced is ok, and leaning toward 2.5 *'s~
I love vegetarian food usually, and maybe it's just what I had (greek tofu wrap with side salad and carrot/ginger juice), but it was pretty standard (and I'd say almost boring, but I love veggies so that doesn't quite describe it), and a little pricey for lunch ($14 total)...
On the plus side, good philosophy and organic... But just as the star rating suggests, I've had better... -

If you are looking for tasty healthy food in a relaxed environment, you won't do much better in Vancouver. I wish all "fast food" was this good and good for you.
I order the Super Burger and the lentil dal most times and they are both consistently great. The dal is very flavourful with a hint of cardimom. The super burger is SUPER.
I have taken meat eating friends to this restaurant and they have all enjoyed it (which is more than I can say for some vegetarian restaurants). -

I really like Sejuiced. I rarely make it out there, because I live in East Van, but I tend to eat there every time I'm in Kits. It's really cute, the food is fresh and good, and it's fairly cheap. There's lots of selection whether you're vegan or not. It's nothing mindblowing but it's enjoyable. And I can't get over the adorable Aussie staff.
I don't know what to recommend. I've heard their tofu scramble is great but I've still never managed to make it out to Kits before 11:00am, when they stop serving it. Everything I've had is pretty delicious, though some things are more exciting than others.
Try the halva cups and bliss balls for dessert (or lunch)! Oh man, so good!Listed in: Vegan Vancouver

Healthy, hearty and happy, I lounged at Sejuiced this past week, content on munching and typing (picked up free Wi-Fi from next door Jitters). The space is clean and bright, and outside of the noise from the juicer, very quiet. I think everyone else there midweek had the same idea - high efficiency work lunching.
My quesadilla with little black beans and surrounded by gooey cheese paired surprisingly well with tatziki and fruit salsa. The mixed bean soup I had alongside of it was okay. Perhaps I'm just not so much of a bean soup girl. It did have quite some savoury flavouring to it.
The part that blew my mind, most surprisingly, was the chai. I ordered it, momentarily regretted it when I saw them pulling out the Tazo Chai tetra pak, but then kept my mouth shut... I'm glad I did. I don't know what they did to spice it up so much, but such a wave of goodness surged through me that I gulped it down. Next time, I might have to order two of those babies! -

Beth and I went to Vancouver.
Beth and I are dieting.
Beth and I only went to two restaurants while we were there.
Beth and I thought this one was the better of the two.
I had a veggie burger that was to die for. First couple of bites, no big deal. But then after that, everything just kind of mixed up in my mouth and i tasted everything that was going on and after another couple of minutes it was gone and I was sad.
It was the kind of food that makes you sad when it ends. And now I'm sad that there isn't a Sejuiced in Seattle. Thanks, Sejuiced. -

If I'm ever at work feeling malnourished and I didn't bring a lunch I make a point of skeedaddling off to Sejuiced on my lunch break - I can just make it if I hurry! Sure, I could hit up a Subway or a vending machine...but at Sejuiced I know I am guaranteed a substantial lunch that meets all my fussy requirements (in no particular order): LOTS, NUTRITIOUS, YUMMY, and VEGAN.
The dishes are plentiful and wholesome. Shaved beets on my salad? Hot, delectable burgers? Small desserts a perfect blend of good, and good-for-me? Don't mind if I do!
I usually go for the protein salad, which takes a long time to eat because there's oh so many luscious things stuffed into it, like grilled tofu, nuts, and plenty of crunchy veggies like the aforementioned beets. Salads come with toasted rye bread (I just ask them to hold off on the vegan butter-stuff). So good.
The soups are hearty, and the burgers and sandwiches taste like happy.
The restaurant is small and has a more day-glo cafe vibe than a sit-down-for-hours-and-yakkety-yak dinner place. It's a great place to hit up on your way to (or coming back from) doing something awesome, like bowling or hiking or marathon window-shopping up and down 4th. -

Really tasty, high quality, healthy food. Almost everything on the menu is so good for you that you know you're doing your body good by eating there. It's a little on the pricey side, but I'm OK with it knowing that it's so much better for me than many other restaurants.
The burgers there are very tasty, but quite large so it's hard for me to finish. I also love their grilled tofu sandwich, quesadilla, and their standard dahl soup. Oh the salad with the grilled tofu pieces is also great. And their take-out containers are made of compostable pulp products. Good for body and earth. -

This is definitely one of 4th Ave's secret gems. I came across this restaurant on a walk through Kits one lovely Saturday morning. Unable to find wheatgrass at my regular shop I stopped in to explore the possibilities.
Not only did I find wheatgrass I found an especially pleasant staff and atmosphere that didn't overwhelm me with that crunchy granola vegetarian vibe. This is stop worth making that will satisfy even those who are not so interested in meatless meals.
Dishes range from smoothies, beautiful and delicious salads to fresh soups including their staple dahl, & I would go as far as saying that it is the best dahl in Vancouver.
Only downfall is the unpredictable wait times... -

I shop along West 4th sometimes and always get a smoothie from here.. or stop by to grab a burger or sandwich on my way home.
The service here isn't HORRIBLE, it's just.. very minimal interaction. I've heard from a friend of mine that works at Cobs on West 4th that they have rather snotty employees (Sejuiced uses Cobs bread), but as a customer I haven't really had that problem.
I absolutely love their menu and like what they stand for: locally grown and organic foods. Seriously really good and super healthy. It's a bit pricey for their items really, but that's what you would expect when it's all local organic produce I suppose. The smoothies here are awesome. One of my favourites is the blue lagoon. And it's cool that they have these little photo hangers at their tables with different fruit cards showing what they're good for (ex: acai is good for hair). But yeah, they have some outdoor seating when the weather is warm too. The interior of the building is very bright.
Definitely the place to grab a small meal when you feel like you've had too much oily foods.. or just sick of your usual greasy take out. Don't forget your smoothie! -

i'm a meat eater, but the thai veggie burger here is, hands down, my favourite burger of all time. i honestly could never get tired of it. and i love their salad as well, i don't know what is in that dressing, but i sure want to know. i've also loved all the soups, juices, smoothies, etc. and today, i had a raw granola, and it was delicious as well -- although i added more fruit at home, i think it made a big improvement.

I have only ever had the smoothies and they are pretty tasty and the quality has been great. I think the prices are pretty much on par with other smoothy joints.
The staff is friendly and never seem to mind when I ask for substitutions (bananas make my mouth itch!).
The decor is basic and nondescript. I would like to try the food next time I'm lunching with a strictly veggie friend. -

This delicious little eatery is a great place to stop in and have a veggie burger, a fruit smoothie, and if you're lucky, a vegan brownie. They have a small-ish, but very tasty menu of all things vegetarian, including a choice of many different kinds of veggie burgers, and they specialize in making delicious smoothies. This is a great place to stop in for a quick lunch or dinner, and the service is pretty friendly and fast. Everything I've tried here has been fresh and crammed with healthy ingredients like sprouts and seeds, so you can go away with your tummy full and feel good about it, too.
