This is a nice little spot in Ballard. Its almost never crowded and the staff is friendly. I have had their burgers, sweet potato fries, and onion rings, all good, but what I really love about this place are the Piadas!!

This place doubles as a Italian piada place and the piadas are delicious! I like the Puglia, which is mozzarella, pesto, and arugula. Then I add proscuitto to it! The piada is an italian flatbread sandwich. They are a great afternoon snack and they keep really well in the fridge (ive never had one get soggy), to eat later. Im pretty sure they bake the bread fresh there too because the flatbread tastes amazing.

The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that the sometimes it feels like it takes a while to get our food. It really just means your food is made to order, so I guess thats not a bad thing! :)

    Oh my god.

    Om nom nom.

Granted, I haven't tried Red Mill, Blue Moon or Lunchbox Laboratory, but this is probably the best burger I've had in Seattle so far. I had a Groupon deal, and I hadn't heard of them before so thanks, Groupon, for alerting me to the existence of this gem! It's tiny and the decor is nothing to write home about, but there's a small parking lot and the people who work here are friendly.

    BUT THE BURGERS.

Huge, juicy patty, piled high with crispy lettuce and fresh onions and tomatoes, slathered in tangy BBQ sauce and strapped down with pepper bacon and a couple of onion rings. I had to take the onion rings out and squish the burger down to get it to an edible size. It's so good, and a steal at only $7. Good shakes - I had an Oreo concoction and it was just the right size and oh so yummy. My friend had the bulgogi burger and onion rings, and aside from the batter falling off the onion rings she really enjoyed her meal. This is my new burgerdate destination.

We too came here with a Groupon.  I am a big fan of locally owned hamburger places and Seattle Burger Company, you can join the club!  The burgers were excellent, fresh, juicy hamburger, thoughtful dressings, artisan buns. Delicious.  As a matter of fact, five stars for the burgers.

One feature I really liked about this place was that they have a fry/onion ring combo.  How come more people don't offer that?  Unfortunately, neither the fries nor the onion rings knocked my socks off (three, maybe even two stars for the fries).  The onion rings need some work.  I'm sure the fries were previously frozen.  We also ordered sweet potato fries which were not special at all.  So if they can significantly improve their deep fried sides I think I would have been more inclined to award them five stars.

My wife and I came in this morning around 11:30AM with only one other couple eating there.  We heard of this place after buying a Groupon.  The person who helped us (the owner I think) was very nice.  I brought up how I saw there were over 3,000 Groupons sold on his place and what his thoughts were.  He told me that he didn't expect that many people to buy the Groupon and unfortunately might be a bad thing for a small business like Seattle Burger Company due to too many sold.  Well I hope this review helps bring in people regardless as this was possibly one of the best burgers my wife and I have had anywhere in the NW.  In fact, I hope the owner reads this as my wife and I will most definitely be back to eat here many many times in the future and will be something we recommend to our friends, family, and co-workers.

Now for the food...I order the Western Burger and my wife had the Chicken Aloha.  My god ... both burgers were AWESOME!  The Western Burger patty was huge and cooked perfectly and had a generous slice of freshly friend onion ring and flavored perfectly with bbq sauce.  The chicken aloha came with pineapple along with all the fixins.  That chicken breast was the biggest I've seen on a burger and tasted great (yeah I ate some of my wife's burger too).  In fact, she couldn't finish her chicken burger and gave me the rest ... which took me 4 bites to finish.  I was stuffed.  She was stuffed.   We were happy.  Oh yeah, can't forgot the buns too .. toasted to perfection.  Last, we also had a side of sweet potato fries which were great.  For $2.89 it was a good portion and cooked to perfection.

After about 20 minutes inside eating, the place was packed and had a line of at least 8 customers waiting to order.  Most of them had the Groupon printed out in their hands so I kinda understood a little better now what the person told me as to why it could be kind of a bad thing..I mean they were losing $8 of profit on each order.  Regardless, they kept it cordial and friendly and served everyone as if they were full paying loyal customers.  It was tough to keep up with that many people I bet but they did and kept the service high.

I really do think though most, if not all, of the 3,000 people who will come in as a result of having the Groupon will feel the same as me and become regulars.  If you haven't tried this place, try it..you won't regret it.  If you have, then you know what I'm talking about.  Till next time Seattle Burger Company...till next time (tomorrow maybe?) haha

Eh, it was a good meal with the Groupon, but I don't think that I'll be coming back without another significant discount.  I had a regular deluxe burger and my boyfriend had the mushroom burger.  The patties were a bit on the small and thin side, and they were all cooked to almost well-done.  In my book, it's not a legit burger joint if you don't get to specify degree of doneness - and we didn't get to here.  It tasted fine, but I would never specifically come here for a burger again.  However, my veggie toppings were crisp and fresh, and I did appreciate how they toasted the sesame buns.  We also split a chocolate malt shake and a side of Cajun fries.  The shake was the best part of our meal - it was so thick and creamy that we ended up eating it with a spoon.  The fries were almost an exact replica of Five Guys' Cajun fries.

The staff there are extremely nice but service is sloooow.  We were one of 3 tables there at 3pm and it took us at least 20 minutes to get our food.  I don't even want to imagine what it's like on a weekend night!

This is a wonderful hamburger/ chicken burger place in Seattle!

I ordered the chicken club sandwhich and boy was it amazing. A very large grilled chicken breast that was moist, fresh tasting and huge!! The toppings were fresh, the cheese was thick and the bacon was top quality. Very impressed with this and would for sure love to have one again.

The french fries/ onion ring combo was decent, nothing amazing though and honestly would have rather had a bag of Kettle Chips. Not bad fries, might order them again. Onion rings were so so would not order them again.

The chocolate shake was good , would love to have one on a hot day and would order it again.

All in all a great value and a nice little location. The service was friendly, but I was surprised to be the only guest in the location for about thirty to forty minutes while I dined in.

Nice new option for a hearty, unusual meal in Ballard. We had our monthly office lunch here this week. As you can see, it's actually two restaurant themes in one.

I had the Piemonte piada, which is one of the few vegetarian options. Very tasty with the spicy sauce option. Fresh made before your eyes flatbread wrapper. The chalk menu up on the wall is a bit difficult to make out what is going on. I didn't realize the Piemonte had eggplant until it arrived. I don't like eggplant so just pulled it out. So hopefully, they can fine tune that menu so you can tell which ingredients go to which dish. Pricing seems fair.

I'd try Piada Italia again but have no interest in hamburgers. thanks.

The boyfriend and I stopped by here on our quest for the best burger in Seattle. We've tried Red Mill, Zippy's Giant Burgers, Lunchbox Labs, Ballards Brothers Seafood and Burgers...

And this one takes the cake. The burgers are large, fairly priced, and juicy. The toppings are well-constructed. The fries are amazing. It was quiet when we were there, but it didn't matter, that's how delicious it was. No
need to put ketchup on them, they were perfectly fried.

Very fairly priced, stop by and give it a shot.

I'm not really a fan of this place. I brought my out of town burger loving friends here on a Monday afternoon since Red Mill is closed on Mondays. Despite previous reviews of poor service, I thought we'd give it a try since I had actually heard some good things about this place.

We arrived and were greeted by an awkward teenager at the counter. We placed our orders and then my friend asked how he normally cooks the burgers. The teenager was confused so my friend clarified by saying "you know medium rare, medium, or well done?" The teenager replied, "Oh I cook all my burgers well done." With that, my friend replied, "that's illegal." The teenager didn't get the joke.

Anyway, we asked for pink centers and ended up with well done burgers. The service was slow as other reviews have noted. With only a group of 4 people in front of us, our burgers took way too long before they were brought to our tables. We also had to wait a few minutes after the burgers arrived for our fries. You'd think they would be prepared for the "lunch crowd."

The burgers were well done like I said and bit on the dry side. I was a fan however of their special mayo sauce and the roasted peppers. All in all though, I've had better burgers in Seattle than this one. Try this place once to make up your own mind and then find your way back to Red Mill.

Honestly, they probably should specialize in either Italian food or burgers, but not both.

I've been here a few times now.  I have tried the following:

    1)  Deluxe Cheese Burger
    2)  Deluxe Burger
    3)  Grilled Chicken Salad
    4)  Piadi
    5)  Tomato and Fresh Mozzerela Salad
    6)  Sweet Potato Fries

I can say the following about this place.

    1)  The folks that run this place are trying hard to make things right.  They go out of their way to either be friendly, give you a little extra of something or make it a little extra convenient for you.....

    2)  The service can be slow, so just be prepared.

    3)  The food quality and taste is much better than all of the other well known hamburger places in Seattle...They have a chargrilled burger with fresh tomatoe, onions, and lettuce on a bun.

    4)  The Piadi was okay but for us had too much flatbread.

    5)  The sald was healthy.....very moist boneless skinless grilled chicken over chopped romaine lettuce and balsamic dressing was the gist of this....A+ for healthy.

    6)  The sweet potato fries were pretty tasty too.  Just the right balance of sweet and salty.

    7)  The tomato and fresh mozzerela salad, I believe they call this the Basiicata (?)....anyways, it was simple but delish.  I would have personally liked the tomato to be thicker slices and the cheese to be thinner slices.  The pesto is nice.  One time it was served with arugula garnish and another time with no garnish.

    8) Currently, they offer fountain drinks have free refills.

I would make sure the place is well lit, play music to keep the feelings good while you wait for food and even turn off the television which seems to be tuned to sports and feels like a distraction since the atmosphere isn't a sports bar.

If you try this place, you'll probably like it and wonder why you haven't tried it sooner.

    Ciao!

Food was delicious! As good a burger as you'll get. And plenty of fries with a nice seasoning. VERY thick shakes, in fact they really need a little bigger diameter straw it's so thick.

I went in right after they had a Groupon come out and there was a line to the door. They had another hour to go on a Friday evening but about 10 minutes after I ordered they had to lock the door and put out a sign because they had ran out of some key food.

They seemed a little out of rhythm but it WAS busy and they haven't been at it for long. The guy taking orders and bagging kept interrupting orders and whatever he was doing to answer the phone. They need a simple phone tree to answer the "How late are you open?" calls.

But I'll go back! Food was not fast food cheap but WAAAAY better and very filling.

I write this in a state of near-total post prandial shutdown (aka 'burger coma')...

I just had the Western Burger and it was fantastic.  Easily the tastiest burger I have had in Seattle.  And maybe ever.  Pepper bacon, onion rings, jalapenos and BBQ sauce slathered on a beautiful flame broiled piece of cow...AWESOME.

My wife has been dragging me out to Blue Moon on a weekly basis for their gluten free hamburger rolls.  The Western Burger easily eclipsed anything I have tried at the Blue Moon.  Or, for that matter, Zak's or Red Mill.

Kicking myself for unfairly ignoring this place up to now - while within walking distance of my office, it's located on the unfashionable end of NW 56th.  I will definitely be back.

N.B. - this establishment appears to have changed its name to "Piada Italia", but they are still serving the Seattle Burger Company menu.  Not sure what that portends, so get in here while you can.

I came here the day before I was going to start a diet, so this was my last hurrah burger and I really wanted it to be SOMETHING.  And this was.  There were so many to choose from, and I'm not sure what tipped the Western's scales, but that's what I ended up with.  I think because it came with two huge onion rings on it and I wouldn't need to order any on the side.   I did not get any fries or a  shake because I didn't think I'd be able to eat all that food, and I was right.

The Western comes with bbq sauce, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, peppery bacon, the two onion rings, and somewhere in there was a beef patty, I'm pretty sure.

When it arrived, I didn't know how I was going to eat it, and because I can't dislocate my lower jaw like a boa constrictor, I took the two onion rings out and ate them first.  That's cheating, of course.

Half a dozen napkins later, I was able to finish the whole thing.

I really wanted to try a peanut butter milkshake but just didn't think I could do it so I had iced tea instead.  When I ordered it, the young woman behind the counter was very helpful ... I couldn't decide if I should get sweetened or unsweetened and she said she'd make it half and half.  She also clued me in to the fact they have free refills so I should get the smaller size and refill instead of paying for the larger size.

My dining companion had the Jr. Blues (I think that's the name) burger, and I know she enjoyed it (even though I think she only ate about half of it), but I didn't taste it so we'll have to let her give a review.  But I cadged a few of her sweet potato fries and they were pretty awesome.  She also had a chocolate shake and again, the helpful woman behind the counter asked if it were chocolatey enough (it was).

We were there at 7:00 on a Saturday night, and there was plenty of seating, even though the place is sort of small.

My entire bill, with tip was under $10.00, which I like, so I'd probably come back here before ever going to Lunchbox Laboratory.

If I weren't on this diet, I'd be back next week to try to the Aloha burger, with teriyaki sauce, pineapple and wasabi mayo.

    Veggie burgers available too!

Yum!!! Both bulgogi burger and fire roasted veggie burger were bangin awesome. Friendly guys, great spot, walked to the movies after.

It's a shame that their menu has changed so much - the way I understand it, Groupon screwed these guys by overselling their coupon, and they have had to cut a lot of the more specialty items - Bulgogi burger is now gone. Thanks Groupon. (that was sarcasm)

My sis and I bought a Groupon and decided to give this place a try. The place was clean and staff were friendly.

We ordered the fish burger and the western burger with a Black bean veggie patty plus an order of cajun fries. It wasn't busy and only two people ordered before us but it took 12 min. to get our order.

Not only were the burgers HUGE, they were delicious! Flavor of the fish burger was mild and succulent with what I'm guessing was marinated onions. The western burger with the veggie patty was packed with flavor. Everything tasted so fresh. The fries were very good and the ranch dip tasted homemade.

Honestly, we could have each ordered a side and just split one of the burgers. We're looking forward to coming back and trying their milk shakes.

Cajun fries were $2.29 and each burger was $7.

Keep your eyes peeled because the outside of the restaurant is pretty nondescript and I think the restaurant is shared with another company as well. Decor is super casual, atmosphere is open and friendly with ample table space.

So Piada Italia can be a little confusing to the most casual customers. They promote themselves as an Italian Sandwich and Burger joint, but also have a variety of pasta dishes on the menu. Upon further inspection, you will realize that this establishment is a strange hybridization of The Seattle Burger Co. and an Italian flatbread restaurant.

The burgers are average and it can get a little expensive with the addition of fries and a drink. I would pass on this option.

Instead, check out their piadas. I had the Toscana, which is comprised of smoked salmon, asparagus, mushroom, and cream cheese mouse on a toasted flatbread. It was very delicious and is much more indicative of what this place COULD eventually be once it builds up the right following. For now, it's merely a burger joint with a few italian options.

If you are planning on hitting this place up, be prepared to wait for your food. Just a heads up, because most of the diners were in the restaurant with me had no clue that they would have to wait so long.

So in summary, this place is worth a shot, but don't expect to be wowed.

-French Fries, I HATE SOGGY FRIES
-Although its small and homey its to small...if more then ten people are their it gets to crowded.

I ordered the JR Bleu Cheese and Bacon burger with Cajun fries.  The portions are big, I couldn't finish it, and it was very very good.  I appreciate a burger made with good quality, fresh ground beef, and at 10 bucks for my entire meal I feel like I walked out with a pretty good deal.  Service was extremely friendly and quick.  I was there at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon so I beat the dinner rush.

It's small and not a fancy place, but for me it's fine for a burger joint.  The people working there were very welcoming and it has a family-owned feel to it.  The signs on the outside are confusing because they also serve Italian food (Piadas).  I will definitely be back.

So far this is definitely my favorite burger place in Seattle. The burgers are moist and juicy, but the best part is the incredible sauce. It gives the burgers a nice spicy, but not too spicy, kick. They also have amazing sweet potato fries that are crisp and salted just enough.

The service is always friendly and pleasant.

I've been to Red Mill and I've been to Blue Moon and while Red Mill's burgers are nice and big, Seattle Burger wins hands down on taste.

I can't believe this spot has been open for a week and not one Yelper has reviewed!  Katie S.?  Where you at? :-)

    ....and here we go.

I ordered a deluxe cheeseburger with pepper bacon, onion ring/fry combo, and a Mexican (real) Coke. My gf ordered the aloha chicken burger with wasabi mayo on the side.

My burger was pretty good.  The patty was thin and not incredibly juicy, seemed frozen (I could be wrong) but the bacon, cheese, and condiments were really fresh and outstanding.  I feel like this is a "condiment" centric burger rather than a "meat" centric burger. There are other set ups including a western, aloha, and others.  I'll go back.  I'll try a western next time.  Three stars here.

My gf's aloha chicken burger with pineapple and wasabi mayo was THE BOMB!  A big, tender piece of chicken breast with fresh fixins....the wasabi and the pineapple combo was awesome.  Four stars here.

The onion rings were so crunchy and delicious! Defiantly have to order some when you go.  I feel like I haven't discovered what makes this place great....yet!  Worth a go if you're around.

Came in with a Groupon.  Unlike the rush other's have experienced, there were only 4-5 other customers there while we ate.  I chatted with the cashier when I ordered and he said that they've been swamped and things are slow because it was supposed to snow.  So it was very good for us that Seattle folk fear snow!!  =)

We bought a lot of food, western burger, aloha burger, sweet potato fries, onion rings, and a drink.  The western burger was AMAZING.  And I really loved their onion rings.

The owners are really nice and work really hard to make their customers happy.  I asked for a cup of water at the counter and he told me I don't have to wait there, he'd bring it over and did so while limping due to an incompletely healed ankle injury.  Aw.   I went in because of a Groupon and will likely be back for more (onion rings).   =)

They have the best Hawaiian...I mean, ALOHA burger I've had! In addition to making all the standard ingredients: pineapple, teriyaki sauce, patty, etc --- good, they use wasabi mayo and it is as wasabi as it is mayo ^_^ spicy and smooth, making the burger my favorite flavor now. They also have monthly specials like the bulgogi or cajun burger. My boyfriend had the Cajun burger last time and he said it was really good.

They're also kinda cheap for how good it is. The burgers are around $6 and it's a decent portion. Last time I went there's a sign saying they will soon be accepting credit cards, which is good news for me because I rarely carry cash or check around.

Let me start off by saying i like this place. The owner is great, and comes out from behind the counter to make sure everything is good. Meat is cooked well, their bacon is totally killer, toppings are fresh and abundant... Everything is good. All in all I am fast becoming a fan in my two visits.

I have a couple issues but i will keep it short:

-For the price they should be serving 1/3 lbs patties and not 1/4 lbs.

-The buns need addressing but i am not sure how. I like them just fine but something seems like it is missing.

UPDATE: You are right Peter.  The buns are much better now.  Much.

-Onion rings are tasty but not my favorite type of breading. I would go for either sweet potato fries or normal potato fries.

-They don't take cards, which some of you who have read my other reviews will know that it is a pet peeve of mine. They do have a card reader but it acts as an atm and charges fees. Kinda lame. Oh well, Just bring cash and make sure it's enough to tip because they really are attentive and a great addition to the neighborhood.

Oh yeah! They also have A1 steak sauce for you to add. If you were a burn out loser like me in high school you probably sat around Denny's (RIP) and ate fries and drank coffee all night.  At some point you probably got bored of hearing about your friend's D&D game (you were never into that) and decided that A1 on your fries is like getting something fancy for free and Denny's had it right there on your table!  Awesome.  Well, you get to remember those nights when you poor some A1 on your fries here...

And one last thing.  They make an awesome desert...  for dogs.  Frozen yogurt, bananas, peanut butter served on a dog biscuit.  weird.

Now if they only stayed open until 11pm in the summer...

I stopped by one recent warm sunny day (where did those go?) and ate outside at one of the 2 little tables in the sun.

I broke my gluten free diet because sometimes, when a cheeseburger is involved... I just have to suffer the consequences.

Yum!  Had a deluxe cheeseburger.  The kind of tasty home style burger that is exactly what you expect and does not let you down.  And also it was around $5, which is a great price for lunch in Ballard!  I recommend this spot to all.

All in all, a fine burger.  It has that char-broiled goodness that I love.  The bacon is grreeeat.  The fries were tasty too.

True, they don't take debit or credit cards, and there is that weird ATM setup, but the owner did take a check.  Give them a few months to get off the ground and maybe they will be able to build up a following; then, they can either pass that $.35 per transaction fee along to the customer with a slightly higher price, or absorb it themselves.

My bacon cheeseburger deluxe with fries and a soda came to a little over $10, so the prices are pretty spot on with non-chain burger joints around town.

I found the owners to be very friendly.  When I ordered to go, he gave me a larger cup than normal for my soda since I wouldn't be there to get a free refill.  I like those small touches.

And it's on my drive home.  Rut ro.

I was so excited when all of these independent burger places started popping up all over the place!  And in theory, I am still thrilled.  I used to like Red Robin in the 70s and then they sold out and sold out again and again until they are nothing but a corporate shit hole selling cookie cutter burgers.  That said, I'm glad that places like Seattle Burger Company is around.  This particular place, however, kinda lacks the fire in their belly that I'm looking for in a burger place.  This is evidenced by a secondary business they have selling some sort of Italian food.  The burgers here are pretty good, but I don't think they'll ever be really GREAT until they commit to one cuisine or the other.

The very best burger I've ever had in Seattle.

This place puts Red Mill to shame.  The Western and the Bulgogi burgers are my favorites, but I've had quite a few on the menu and they're all good*.

The fries and sweet potato fries are really good, but the onion rings are excellent--the only trouble is having room for them in my tum.

Sometimes I go in just for a shake.  I like that they have flavors that aren't just chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, though they have those, too.  I like the pineapple one (goes great with an Aloha burger) and the peanut butter one.

The personalized service is one of my favorite things about this place.  I first went about month after they opened, and they asked me my name; then they remembered me by name the next time I went and every time since.  They always have a biscuit for my pup, and they are friendly and cool and they really care about a quality product.

No question it deserves all five stars.

    * I have not tried the chicken or the veggie burgers yet.

Wow this place is amazing! The Aloha Chicken Burger with freshly made wasabi mayo and the Cajun fries were so, so yummy.

I really like the owner, he's very focused on making a great restaurant with fantastic food.  He's been to Hawaii a lot and you can see it his menu.

You should go, take cash since they don't take cards.

Saw this place pop up in my neighborhood so I thought I would give it a try.  Service?  Friendly and attentive.  I could tell the guy behind the counter is aiming to please.

The burgers were pretty good, though I can't say they stuck out more than other places.  The prices made it reasonable and the barbecue sauce was nice, with no extra charge.

I do have to say it's the only place that I have ever seen a Bulgogi burger, and having spent some time in Korea I have my own soft spot for Bulgogi style goodness.  My brother ordered it and raved quite handily about it.

Like any new business there is going to be an expected inconsistency from one visit to the next.  So it's probably a bit too early to say how they will do in the long run.

I think this place needs to do more to differentiate themselves.  The Bulgogi burger is a nice start.  They are certainly trying though, so you never know.

    It's definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food, both the burgers and the Piadas are gourmet level without the cost.

Very reasonable prices, and good sized portions enjoyed in a  comfortable environment.

Had a burger there on Monday, JR Blues. The patty was dry and overcooked. The blue cheese and bacon were the best part. They had two menu boards - one for Piadis (some sort of Italian sandwich) and one for burgers. It felt like they tried making a Piadi shop and when they needed more sales added burgers. Honestly the burger reminded me of a summertime BBQ at a buddies house - you know the guy who overcooks EVERYTHING......edible but that's about it.

Within walking distance (crawling, really) of my apartment, nice thick juicy burgers, what's not to like.

This is the best burger place in Seattle and they are in a tough place now because of Groupon. The rep told them they did not need a cap because they wouldn't sell that many coupons. Well they lied. They sold nearly 4500 coupons and this little business is loosening money on every groupon.

They were unprepared for the mob of people the showed up. Long wait times and impatient customers made for a tense place today. I really feel bad for these guys! They have an awesome product and a great staff.

So if you go please be patient you'll be rewarded. I hope Groupon doesn't put the out of business.

The service was sorta slow but the burgers were good.  Tried the Buffalo Burger (because the Bulgogi Burger wasn't available).  A good burger joint.

This place is still fine, but I noticed something really annoying on my second visit. While the basic vegetarian burger is a dollar more than the basic hamburger, the vegetarian burger with a pepper on it is the same price as the hamburger with a pepper on it.

This doesn't make sense. I call for consistency in pricing! I'm fine with seeing places charge $1 extra for a veggie burger, but why list the options separately and then make it obvious through your pricing that its not really worth anything extra? More importantly, why does a pepper decrease in value when placed atop a veggie burger? WHAT DID IT DO WRONG?!?!

This makes me angry. Not as angry as a Boca Burger though, so I will still come here if friends are in the mood.

Mixed feelings, I agree with Michael that the burger was probably frozen and everything seemed to be from Cash and Carry but.... the burger had a good tasting char on it and there was a taste of that backyard summer BBQ in a bun.

Sweet Potato fries were the frozen kind which I do enjoy at times but wow I have never gotten such a small portion, I did get the fries/onion rings combo which was 3 onion rings and a "small" order of fries under it.

I really loved the house mayo - a chipolte seasoned mayo.

I read about the cheap price but at $22 for my husband and I for 2 burgers a small order of fries and 2 sodas I dont think its cheap enough for what I got.

Give it a try, not a bad burger, just something I would make at home. I guess if you dont have a BBQ this would be your place!

This place is fantastic and a great addition to the Ballard food scene.  Piadas - Basically flatbread sandwiches is a food that's served to the nightlife patrons throughout much of Italy.  Here it fills in more as a lunchtime offering.  They also serve burgers which I haven't had yet - that may seem odd to some, but apparently it's very typically found in piada shops.  Anyway give this place a go, fresh, unique, and delicious.

Delish! Yet ANOTHER reason to go to Ballard. I recommend the Piemonte and the Puglia...two of my faves. The ingredients are really fresh and the piadas are filling, but not heavy. Perfect spot for lunch! YUM!
