Probably the best service we got in Vancouver.
Really REALLY comfortable seating.  Huge TVs you can see from everywhere without stress (even though I'm not a huge sports fan my d.h. is).  And the food was great.
We just had Sunday brunch, (omelet and french toast) and it wasn't a buffet, but it was reasonably priced and very tasty.

This I consider my local watering hole.  I work in hotels and try to make it to as many different locations as I possibly can and somehow always end up at the Score.  Great staff always super friendly and know there drink and food menu well to answer any questions you have in regards to them.

Great for brunch, lunch and dinner and they always have three specials on each day (sporting event, food special and drink special) my particular favourite is the $6 Carlsberg off tap every Saturday.  You can also never go past the Mac n'Cheese covered in Pulled Pork.

Great for a Canucks game or just a couple of drinks and appetizers with friends.   I highly recommend this place as a great Casual bar and you will probably see me there...I will be the guy with the Carlsberg in my hand.

    Cheers,

Average sports bar interior. Has seating, table service, and a lot of food. If you don't sit at the bar you can't have more than two drinks without ordering food. I had kind of an awkward time with seating and ordering, these rules are foreign to me. I just wanted beer.

The bartender and staff were really nice. All of the patrons seemed cool and friendly, but maybe that's just Vancouverites in general. There were a lot of regulars.

Great sports bar, awesome food, great laid-back vibe. Excellent patio in the summer and no better place in the city to catch a game (save for Rogers Arena). Only complaint is that it's small, so it fills up fast...recommend you show up at least an hour before a game to grab a seat!

I thought the interior of this place was really nice and non sportsbar like. Excellent placement of televisions so everyone in the place can see at least one.

Went here for breakfast, had the spinach benny and a mimosa. The food and service were spot on. Would love to try the rest of the menu.

They serve Kronenbourg Blanc, which was on special the night I came. I am in love. The salad was huge and the burgers looked really good too.

The waitress was cute and personable and always on top of things.

I want to come back to try other dishes and drink more beer!

Went for drinks and food on a friday night. Service was good and food was just average. Nachos are extremely over priced for what you get. Loads of tortilla chips but no much toppings. Would go back for a drink but not for food.

Score does it again!  This is the sports bar to be at.  I had a questionable experience and the owner quickly worked to make it right.  Way above and beyond the call of duty.  Yet another reason to become a regular here if you are not already.

Great sports bar!  Solid appetizers and great service.

One of my favourite activities at the bar is the ticktacktoe on Canucks game nights.  You get to choose nine players to putting one in each square.  If the player gets a goal, assist, or fight, you can X him out.  I won a free beer the first night I was there!

We went for a UFC night too.  Just a basic $5 cover added to your bill.  This was on a wintry night, so we got in easily.  Went back for another UFC night and there was a long line out the door - so be sure to call ahead if UFC is your plan.

Just went back last week and tried the quesadilla. Who knew a quesadilla could be so fresh and tasty?! Mmmm and big fresh tasty salads. My mouth is watering again, already.

Our server, Lisa, was as funny and helpful as ever. Can't keep away from this place!

I don't know how many times I've been here, it's always been for breakfast. They used to have a $4 breakfast, and that was awesome. Then it became the $5 breakfast, and that was still pretty rockin'. It's now the $6.50 breakfast, but it's still beyond reasonable.

When I checked in here on yelp, I got a free shot of Jager - so how could I not give them 5 stars!?

The breakfasts here are good - exactly what you want after a hangover - eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, and coffee that keeps flowing.

This is definitely a favourite casual brunch spot.

I have been here numerous times. Usually it's pretty good. The service can be a little off sometimes. One time were told that if we wanted more than two drinks we had to order food, found that kinda weird, there was like 4 other tables in the place, it was not at all busy. We were going to order food, but I got annoyed  and we left after the first drink.
Wing night is on Wednesdays you get like a pound of wings for 3 or 4 dollars, super good deal.
The food is your basic pub grub, nothing special, there is definitely better out there.
It's an alright place to pop in every once in a while, it's one of the only "pubs" in the area.

Inexpensive spot to grab a drink and brunch, was a nice idea.

Pretty straightforward with the eggs, toast, and home fries. All good.

View of the gays struggling to get up the hill and seniors on their rascals, priceless.

This might be the "hot spot" on Davie; but it is because there aren't many good places there...

We made a stop here after bicycling Stanley Park;  we got two cold beers and order some of their brunch dishes... can't remember them now and that's probably because they not memorable.

Cute outdoors seating and probably the best hang out place for the gays...

My wife and I have been going to Score for breakfast/brunch 2-4 times a month for at least 2 or 3 years and we love it!

We keep coming back because of:

    --friendly, competent, efficient servers
    --consistently good food
--very reasonable prices (you can get a $5 breakfast, but $10-15 per person is typical)
--laid-back atmosphere, no hassles, no attitude

Score is also a great place to catch a game; they've always got hockey/football/basketball on their many, large flat screens.

One draw back is that the menu doesn't change much, so we wind up having the same few dishes. But those dishes are always well-prepared and served promptly, and we can always rely on getting what we expect.

check it out next time you want good eats!

Nice outdoor seating area, modern interior, decent moderate prices, OK service.

Came here for drinks with a group and sat outdoors. It was really nice! Fun to watch the street activity, enjoy good weather and conversation. Two of us shared a pitcher of red sangria for $20 (a Saturday special) and it was delicious. We each had a full 4 glasses and a nice buzz!

Note: modern, interesting unisex bathroom with private stalls. I was so confused at first... and I saw confused male faces when they came in and saw me washing my hands at the sink. Funny!

A nice, fun place to hang out and grab some drinks.  I have been coming here for a few years now.  The patio outside is great in the summer.  However if you can't get out there because of how busy it is, the front glass panes open to allow a nice breeze in.

The food is decent, the drinks are good.  Service is ok.  Great place to catch whatever game is playing at the moment.

Walked in around midnight on a Saturday night and this place was suprisingly dead. Not really a bad thing, considering it was easier to just chill, but it was just a tad surprising. There were only 2 other people in this big open bar. The ambiance was nice, the back room with the tree wallpaper looked like a good place for a group to cuddle up and drink. Service was good, but I kinda felt like I had to wait a smidge too long to order my 2nd drink given there was really no one else in the bar. I had the Pink Lemonade and it was good. Mr. A ordered the something, something Sunset and it was alright, but really sweet. I'd stop by again if I was walking by.

Love this place! Used to come here to watch hockey, but it gets suuuper packed, being one of the only places in this area of Davie that shows games.

The drinks are good, most of my evenings spent here are fuzzy from alcohol disturbance. So I remember having breakfast/brunch more clearly. There's a section where the breaky is super budget and basic, but good. And then they have the usual brunch fare which is pretty awesome as well.

Plus, they did an awesome redecorating job. Really cute booths and probably a slick date place.

This is a great place to sit outside in the summer and enjoy a drink. This place can get pretty busy. They have a decent food menu. The inside of this place is great for watching a game and hanging out with friends. I was directed to this place by some tennis friends. I would definitely go back if I were in town again!

One of the more european-feeling bars I hit in my trip here, though I can't put my finger on why it gave me that vibe (beyond unisex loo)

Perfect (likely) to watch the game.  Equally perfect for our purpose - a pub crawl stop

food is great, from breakfast to late-night, the servers are very attentive and so adorable and the prices are reasonable. (love the $5 breakfast)

Cushy cushy cushy.. That's if you get a booth. Really excellent food menu, I recommend the pizza. Wine is inexpensive and the service is good, better if not a fully packed house. Great place to meet a group of friends. Heated patio for extra space. Flat screens mounted for your sports-viewing pleasure.

A couple friends and I stopped in here last night to watch the Canucks game and get some eats.
It's a great spot to watch sports with several large TV's throughout the place.  Sadly our near perfect location couldn't show us a Canucks win, but whatever.
We ordered pitchers of beer, and I don't think that any of us touched the pitchers after they were brought to the table.  The serving staff was on it when it came to noticing that our glasses were getting empty and they'd magically show up to refill our glasses for us.  How cool is THAT?!
I ordered a "Greek" style veggie burger with caesar salad, and my amigo ordered a "California" style veg burger with fries.  I would have to say the food is only average.  Both burgers were tasty, but not mind-blowingly so.  I did appreciate that my salad wasn't drowning in dressing though.  The 3rd member of our party had the hot wing special.  Being a vegetarian I didn't try his food, but it did have him sweating from the spice.  I'll definitely come here again - to eat or drink or both. The great staff more than make up for the standard food, and the atmosphere is cozy yet fun.  I'm also a fan of the unisex washroom which did take me by surprise when I first walked in.  I distinctly remember being sure there was a woman sign on the door, and was a little confused to catch a glimpse of a man using a urinal in my peripheral as I entered.  I quickly realized there were two entrances to the washroom and that it was indeed coed.  For those who are shy about such an arrangement there is a single stall washroom available, too.

    Best pub/bar in the area.

It has a good patio and seating inside if you want to watch a game.

Service is good, the drinks/food are reasonably priced, the menu is good but not great.  It would be nice to see a little more than the standard pub food.

All in all its hard to complain as its a good pub or bar or restaurant.

Started going when they first unfurled their five dollar breakfast. The decor was fun, the food was delicious, and the place was quiet enough that you could nurse a three-alarm hangover in relative comfort.
Then, news of the cheap breakfast spread.
As the crowds grew over the next few months, the music volume increased. If there was a game on tv, we'd have to listen to both the sportscast and the music blasting at top volume. Once my friends and I had to move outside to escape pounding thrash metal on a Sunday morning.
The breakfast quality dropped drastically. For the next three weekends in a row, my scrambled eggs arrived looking suspiciously like they were dyed dark brown. Waffles were ice cold. Hash browns were dripping wet and shriveled and tasted awful. Game over, Score.
But all's not lost: go on a quiet day when there's no game on, enjoy anything on the menu but the breakfast, and peruse the impressive beer list. It's the only place I know of in Vancouver that serves Desperado.
