I had my hair done there for my bestfriends wedding. My hair dresser was amazing and I am not the best client at times with my hair since I never let anyone touch it..She was so understanding with me. I recomend going and looking into the other services they offer :)

When I was living in London, I went here for my haircuts exclusively (after getting ineptly shorn at one or two other places). It helped that I lived in walking distance of Scizzorhands, of course, but even if the trip were a little longer, I'd still recommend them.
You get a hair salon cut at barbershop prices (i.e., under twenty bucks), which includes shampoo and style. They do walk-ins, but it's probably best to book ahead. Since I wasn't picky about who cut my hair, I'd book an appointment with whoever was available on the day and time that was convenient for me, and I have to say that I got a good, pro cut no matter which girl did it. -

I got color done a while ago when I was back in London. It was so amazing that a lady at the mall chased me down to ask me where I got my color done! The color did put a pretty dent in my wallet... but it was worth it. Thanks Scizzorhands!

Scizzorhands first opened their doors in 1993 at 88 Wharncliffe Rd South and has since relocated to where it stands today at 322 Wharncliffe Rd North. The owner and operator of Scizzorhands has been doing hair since 1975. The shop has done numerous bridal events, hair shows and competitions.
