Schooner Cove trail is one of the best trails in Pacific Rim National Park. If you've never been to Pacific Rim National Park, the park is made up with many wooden boardwalk trails. The 1 km boardwalk trail that takes you directly to the beach of Schooner Cove is solid, beautiful crafted and pretty much creak free. You can easily tackle this trail with regular runnings shoes. You will have to be careful because some areas are wet due to the fact you're in a temperate rainforest. What makes it really unique are the extremely rich surroundings of old growth trees, exposed tree roots, moss, lichens and ferns.
