I'll tell you where, The Scholefield House!!! For my 100th review, I want to Yelp this very special place because we were married here five years ago, this December. The Scholefield House is a beautiful Victorian B&B in a pristine and historic neighborhood. The rooms are posh and the innkeepers, George and Tana, are gracious, charming, and welcoming. It's truly the perfect place for a winter wedding or a weekend getaway!
Five years flies by quickly. Every thing seemed to go wrong on that fateful day. We arrived in Vancouver early in the morning and discovered that: my Best Man had bailed (and has never been heard from since), Canadian immigration was detaining our Maid of Honor thinking that her asthma attack was a case of "Bird Flu," and the ferries leading to Victoria were on strike. We chartered a private plane and made it to the Scholefield House within ten minutes of the ceremony only to find that the seamstress at Jeremy's in SF had forgotten to tailor my Gucci tux. Once the whole thing started I did what any other 6' rugged tough buff surfer dude does on his wedding day, I sobbed and balled uncontrollably!
We've been back a few times since and each visit to the Scholefield House is a special one.
