My sister got married at the Scandinavian Centre a few years back. Although the marriage didn't last, the impression the centre left on me did ("And the award for the WORST segue of the year goes to..." ).
The advantages of having a wedding ceremony & reception here are:
1. It's actually available in the summer
2. You can get in the night before to set up
3. It's not AS expensive as booking an actual wedding hall
4. It fits a significant number of people (my sis had about 300 people attend)
5. Speaker system is great (We danced the night away)
6. It's easy enough to get to
7. You can cater in food & booze from wherever you'd like
So yeah, as you can see, I'm definitely a fan.
