Santa Lucia is a large, busy two-storey Restaurant/Pub which serves both greek food and pizza.

Despite how great the pizza looked, I decided to go for greek food, as I can't seem to be able to find a plate of Moussaka in Edmonton for less than $20.

And the moussaka was a bit heavy, but delicious. I especially enjoyed the subtle seasoning of the ground meat, and the flavours that the potatoes soaked up.

And instead of a greek salad, I subsituted a Caesar Salad, which included uniquely shaped and tasting croutons I wonder how they made them, and what kind of bread they used.

And the highlight of the meal was Santa Lucia's lemon garlic potatoes, slathered in who knows how much butter.

I found the service to be sloppy, but friendly. For instance, salads were served before we actually had silverware. But our server apologized for forgetting the silverware.

I look forward to trying the pizza the next time I am in Winnipeg.

This is a good family restaurant as the price is very reasonable and the portion sizes are huge. The food is mostly Italian/Greek/comfort foods ranging from chicken souvlaki, pizzas, fried chicken, and pastas.

The renovated restaurant looks really nice and inside even though I find the exterior a bit gawdy. The interior is light and airy with lots of Mediterranean touches. There's no reservations on Fridays/Sat/Sun so if you are a big party, arrive before 6 pm and it should be okay or a slight wait.

The food here is heavy and carby but surprisingly not heavily salted. It seems like they are more heavy handed with the butter, cream and oils than salt. This is not my type of food as I find the food to be too heavy, bland, and way too big in portion size. But I can see why many people like this place as it does provide "value" - this is a successful local chain after all.

4 piece fried chicken dinner ($9.95) served with fries, coleslaw, and garlic toast. The 3 piece dinner is $8.55 so for $1.40 more, you get an extra piece of chicken - well worth it to up size in this case. The chicken was decently moist and the  renowned Mediterranean breading is pretty tasty.

Chicken a la Parmigiana ($14.95) hand breaded chicken breast covered with homemade marinara sauce, baked parmigian and mozzarella cheeses. Served with fettuccini alfredo, garlic toast and a Caesar salad. You get a pretty generous portion of caesar salad to start with - great croutons, very creamy dressing with good flavour and the romaine lettuce was pretty crisp. A good salad overall. The chicken parmigiana was a bit bland - just tasted like cheese and sauce but that's pretty typical of this dish. The fettuccini alfredo was just pure fat on pasta - no flavour at all.

The lunch offering is fast and pretty inexpensive. The lunch chicken souvlaki is one skewer of chicken with a big portion of Greek salad and garlic toast ($9.95). I find their garlic bread way too doughy and too carby. But their Greek salad is delicious! Great tangy dressing with TONS of feta! The chicken souvlaki is moist and has a strong oregano flavour. I'd say this is the lightest tasting item on the menu even though it's probably full of fat and calories! LOL.

Santa Lucia pizza has pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. A good all around pizza. There is a lot of cheese and toppings on it - not my kinda pizza but it fills you up. They have a Wednesday wing special - I've tried it before, it's okay, nothing special as I'd opt for other more famous wing places in the city.

Service is mediocre - the hostess is in high school and not that engaged in her job but nice enough. The server is really there to take your order and bring you your food - nothing more and nothing less. So decent service at this price level.

Plenty of parking in the front and behind the restaurant.

This place has Great pizza, not so great service. Dudes look like they are out of a Duran Duran video. How about instead if combing your hair check on your guests to see if they need a refill or anything else. wtf?

Finally made it here after they reopened, nice decor we went it in with a group of 4. The pita with tzatziki sauce was good, but the pizza was even better.  We all enjoyed our meals, and we also found a good and hard to find wine on the wine list.  Service was good, and the price was not bad for the size of group.  Overall was a very good, and I am looking forward to getting up to the new outdoor patio they built this summer
