Cheap rates in summer, need I say more.
A clean downtown hotel for a low price friendly staff. -

Stayed here for 3 nights last week, and it's a popular choice for people staying over in Vancouver during big concert nights (in this case, Lady Gaga was in town.) Located between the Stadium and Granville Skytrain stations, it`s close by to downtown, Chinatown, Gastown, and even Yaletown.
We had our room on the top floor (11th) which gave us a nice view, but it was also a pain when it came to the elevators which ran suuuper slow moving from the lobby to the top. Rooms were, well, roomy, but we were constantly short on towels and our toilet clogged in the middle of the night and wasn't maintained until the next morning.
Overall a decent stay, not my first choice but considering the group I was with received a rate of $35/night, not bad at all. -

Booked here on our 4 day stay recently and was pleased with the location and convience the hotel offers. Has a restraunt on 2nd level breakfast daily and dinners. Near public transit and McDonals right around the corner, 7-11 near by and London Pharmacy for all you needs. Rooms were a little small no were to eat if you ordered room service. However front desk is extremly helpfull in all your needs on all shifts too I must say.

For those who want to be within walking distance of downtown and the water for dragon boat racing in Vancouver, this is a good option for the balance in terms of price, proximity and comfort. If you're willing to venture outside the hotel, there are several better options for places to eat instead of the restaurant within the hotel. There are several locations for this chain, so be sure to remember which one you're staying at. Unless you need a car, taking a cab or limo for groups of 6+ with a flat rate might be the better option.

I think the hotel is fine if you are in town for business or a specific reason in the neighborhood. There are rooms available online for under $100. The room is not too cramped. The beds are pretty comfortable. There is a nice flat screen TV. I don't see any problems with cleanliness or broken furniture. Last night the staff wasn't too helpful when I got in from the airport at 1:30 am and wanted to eat. They told me I could go to Tim Hortons or McDonalds. Maybe I am just spoiled with late night options coming from NYC but I wish they could have thought of something else. It's decent for the price, not really any serious complaints.
My boyfriend stayed here for almost a month and said they didn't make up his room very often, didn't bring enough towels and just basically didn't go out of their way to make sure he was happy. For a guest staying for a month, I would think they would want to take care of him. -

Friendly staff. Close to downtown. Inexpensive. Not the nicest rooms but the stay was nice. I would stay there again.

Don't even set a pinky toe anywhere near this place. Save your money and book another hotel. Where do I begin...the small rooms, the dingy dark rugs, the broken furniture, the bathroom fixtures that fall off the wall, the running toilet, the fire alarms that go off constantly, the ice maker that keeps you awake at night, the non-working and stopping while you're mid floor-elevators and of course the unsafe parking garage where they rip the license plate right off the back of your car. Need I say more?
