The batter is standard fare, but it is done well. You have a choice of fish and the pieces of fish are pretty big. The location is unpretentious...perhaps sparse is a better term. Go there for the fish and not the ambiance.
Salty's is a chain with a few stores on the island. The interesting thing is that not all the stores are equally good at cooking the fish, which is unusual. The best Salty's location is the one in Langford, but this one is closer to Vic.
