I decided I needed a change... the prescription? Barbie bangs!
I haven't attempted bangs since the ninth grade when my bff took giraffe shaped scissors to my hair resulting in a frizzy catastrophe. But that was before flat irons and styling products so I was sure THIS time I would be ready to take the plunge.
I called the salon at 9am this morning and was able to come in for 9:30am. The salon was nice and very clean. The receptionist greeted me, took my coat and offered to make me a cappuccino (which was yummy).
My stylist Thuy (Twee) was nice, chatty and was big on explaining what she was doing. I told her about my need for change and she thought bangs would be good too. I will definitely be back. -

Hands down THE WORST salon I have ever been to. The one in Yorkville has boring atmosphere, and very heavy energy through the salon. Very cheap look and feel..not your typical high-end salon.
Employees were not consciously present, and didn't pay any attention to customers needs. When I showed up for my appointment my stylist was overbooked, so they put me with Ori, who not only cut off way too much length of my hair, but also did an amateur job coloring it. Not to forget that I was left in the back of the salon over a sink with chemicals in my hair 20 minutes longer than needed, because the stylist got busy with someone else and forgot I was there.
After spending nearly $350 I couldn't be more disappointed. It looked like I had my hair done in a friend's garage with a cheap hair dye ..
When I contacted the management at first Daniel responded but eventually did not care to correct or make the experience better . I would never go back or recommend this place to any of my friend's.
