Sally Bun - the cafe - is a small, funky lunch spot with an awkwardly cramped dining area. But as it's just a quick-service lunch place, they don't expect you to stay long. But there are always newspapers lying about to read.
The signature dish of Sally Bun is the Sally Bun itself - essentially a thick, doughy, slightly-salted, slightly-sweet bun filled with a number of different fillings. These range from curry chicken to hamburger and a number of vegetarian fillings. I had a cream cheese, mushroom curry bun, and I found it to be a bit too rich, but tasty. All Sally Buns tend to be of the savory variety, rather than sweet.
Sally Bun also enables lunchers to create their own salads for very reasonable prices (about $6) and always has at least one homemade vegetarian soup.
Sally Bun provides samples of its various desserts for all to try and its employees/owners serve you with a smile. -

this is the best place!! ,the sally buns are a great meal lots of different kinds .Love the cream cheese ,tomateo and bacon.If your in the area pick up a couple , on sunny days you can eat on the little patio out back .
