Love this place! visiting frm Berkeley, CA Found this place around the corner frm our condo. First course, summer rolls tw/ peanut sauce-the BEST! (fresh made by Dee-Dee, the true treasure of this restaurant! Bf had the lemongrass chicken and iced coffee. i had the currychicken w/vermicelli served w/ fresh bean sprouts and basil leaves. Good flavor and portions. Didnt expect the potatoes w/ the noodles? but its all good. Cant wait to come back on our next trip!

I went here with my friend. I was a bit surprised to see a pho place downtown. The owner is very sweet. She is very friendly and nice. The restaurant is quite warm, and you leave smelling like food; the ventilation could be better. The food itself is good, and the price is comparable to most places. If I was in the area, I would go back. The menu selection is not huge; it is pretty straight forward.

The Good:
Decent broth, fresh sprouts and mint leaves (none of them at all wilty like in other pho places), friendly owners, everything clean clean clean -- even the tops of the sauce squeeze bottles were clean, and I was there right after the lunch crowd. Also, free tea.
The Bad:
My tendon and tripe pho had no tendon in it and very little tripe (although it did have a very reasonable amount of regular meat in it).
The Ugly:
$7.25 (plus tip, so $8 even) for a small bowl of pho at lunchtime? -

First off, I'm a little upset but I'm still going with 3 stars.
I was walking (blasted! I wish I had an iPhone so I could have checked the Yelp reviews) before going in. What I really, really wanted was a Vietnamese Sub. Subs are listed on their sandwich board -clue one that they're available; there is a laminated picture next to the pho on the back wall -clue two that they're available; they're not on the regular menu -hmmm...I've already sat down, they've given me tea...
I ask for it anyway - 2 out of 3 locations showed they served up a sub. I was wrong.
I settled on rare beef pho. Outside of the fact that I got well done beef, the soup was pretty good! Lots of bean sprouts accompanied it and the broth was decent -not to salty at all.
But alas, my mission to find a close by sub still eludes me! -

I really like the pho here, and find the cost-to-quantity ratio unbeatable. So I will acknowledge that there are a million places to get good pho around town- you can probably find "better" or more "authentic" this still holds its own.
I meet my husband here on a regular basis. Our order is always quick and good. Again the price beats a lot of the other downtown options. -

This place is right around the corner from us, so we drop in fairly frequently. The owner is really charming, always giving us a big smile when we come in. The food is tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. I'm not a pho expert by any means, and I have it on good authority that there are better places to be found around town - but for our neighbourhood, I'm really happy here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Vancouver. Found it on a lark while walking with my family on a sunny Saturday. Tired and weak, we stopped for a bowl of pho. The waitress was so genuinely welcoming and friendly, she even held our baby boy so we could eat. Awesome broth, spicy and filling. I felt rejuvenated after eating here. I will definitely go again.

Decent pho for downtown. You are much better off heading out of downtown to the Vietnamese area on Kingsway though. I ordered one of the pho that was supposed to have tendon in it. It had none. I asked and the waiter told me that tendon are hard to find and very expensive. I said, "OK." To his credit about 60 seconds later he brought a big side plate of tendon for me to add to the soup. But it made me think they won't give what is promised unless you know to ask for it?!?!?! Hm.....
