Review from Beth C.

I used to quite like Sabri, for the money - the $7.95 lunch buffet and $9.95 dinner buffet was a good deal, and about in line with the food, which is sort of uninspired, to be honest. It doesn't taste all that fresh or flavourful. it's kind of just warmed-over Indian food in chafing dishes. Some is better than other (the saag is quite good, as is the lentil curry), some is kind of meh (the naan is almost always burned on one side), and some should not be attempted (the chow mein...yes, seriously....was not good, though we had to try it).
Now that the prices are 20-25% higher than they used to be, and the food, if anything, has gone DOWN in quality, I sadly think I have munched my last Sabri pakora and won't be back. -
Review from Michæl B.
I give this place two stars because they seem to be the only indian place I've yet seen to be brave enough to offer a buffet after the sun goes down.
Past that, this place petty much blows. Pakoras were hard lumps, chicken in the butter chicken was more like pressboard meat than actual chicken, yellow curry sorta tastes like the snot I'm prone to purge in my morning showers, rice pudding isn't sweet at all (one bite made me suspect the cook was the weird kid who ate paste on the playground when he was younger), and worst of all there was a BEEF DISH. Holy cow, where the hell is chef Omar from? Cows are sacred to the Hindu, wtf is going on???
if you ask me, chef Omar is too concerned with "your health" and not concerned enough with taste or authenticity. -
Review from Mr U.
Chef Omar would say it's not only the nastiest food I have ever eaten but probably unhealthy too. They boast so much about their healthy food and if u have been there you would know wat I m saying. Aunty has a very bad service record. And the food doesn't make up for it.

Affordable, family-friendly buffet. Not the classiest or friendliest, but good food on a budget.

Decent food for decent price. Not the best Indian ever, but the naan is fresh tasty and plentiful. Good for groups AFTER seeing movies. Before the movie at your own risk!

Its just a matter of time before someone dies eating their stale food which probably has been cooked several days ago...
dirty plates....indifferent staff.
if somebody wonders, why people still go there....my guess is cheap buffet but mind you friend, this cheap is really cheap. -

They obviously have no passion for what they're doing there. Very poor quality, and good luck getting anything fresh. There are far better options for Indian food in Victoria and for less money too.
