Came here to get fitted for new runners 'cause my old ones were stretched out to the max from being old and trampled on by my serious flat feet. The last time I bought runners I was at a DSW in Vegas and tried on 50 pairs (no word of a lie) before finding ones that were comfortable and supportive. Forgive me but I can not remember the name of the owner who after checking out the wear and tear of my previous Reeboks and the shape and archlessness of my feet and observing my running form she patiently helped me pick a pair of Adidas that seriously has improved my form and has significantly reduced the pressure I was beginning to feel in my right knee and hip. She was more than patient and really funny as well. I would take a clinic here but its a little far from my house. My running buddy does the clinics here and she can not say enough good things about the group and the owner. Really great small business ethics and definitely worth supporting!

I came in knowing exactly what I wanted (a toasty warm base layer in a girly cut but not a girly colour) and found what I was looking for right away. Being a newb to running gear, I wandered the store (clean, bright, organized) a bit to make sure it was the Very Best Thing. There were two folks working who were both, by all appearances, very busy helping someone on the phone. That's fine. I found what I needed and got out, but I can't really speak to the customer service in this little review.

I realized that I was in need to get some running garments after deciding I was going to become one of those people who run past you on the sidewalk or jump out of nowhere in front of your car and scare the living day-lights out of you. So, I ran to The Running Room.
The Running Room has running clothes, shoes, accessories and more for both men and women. I can't say much about the men's section, but the girls section had tons of stretch pants in all different cuts and styles, shorts, jackets, shirts & tanks, socks, water bottles, watches, a nice selection of sport bra's (padded and non-padded) and so much more. They also had a nice selection of running shoes that looked like they would really support ones feet while running. I was happy with the variety that they had and the quality of the clothes were good and breathable. Their prices are higher compared to other places like Sports Check by $5-$10.
The store was clean, organized and spacious and they carry a ton of great things. While shopping, I did not receive any help, actually I did not know anyone was working there until the last few minutes I was there, someone popped out and said hello. I would have appreciated some help picking out a few items.
Overall, this particular Running Room has a great selection of running wear that come is lots of awesome styles and cuts and so much more. However, their merchandize is more pricey compared to other places and the staff is not helpful at all.Listed in: Yonge & Eglinton
