When my friend asked me to come to the Legion with him one Friday night I shrugged my nose thinking they are for elderly people.
Well boy was i surprised what a hoot this place it. Not only are the drink super cheap and flowing fast and furious the dance floor is on fire. Friday night was Karaoke night which was really fun.
Yes the Legion is filled with the regulars but it is always nice to add some spice to things. What a great bunch of people here at this location that are always up for a good time.
Drop on by and belt out a tune.. -

The Royal Canadian Legion is located right across from the post office.
Anyone who knows the Legion's knows that there are a lot of stories and lets say, not all the truth, over many a beer here. It is a place where you can only go if you are a member. You have to have served in one of the services or be a able to prove you are a spouse or child etc. The rules are very long and I would suggest going to the site to have a look.
The Legions are know for their Levey's at Christmas. It is the one time of year that beer is free and you can usually get it without being a member. Levey's are fun, we use to do a circuit of them.
The Legion is a place that serves its regulars and is a great place for our Vets to go and be appreciated.
