I'm a member of the Point Grey Legion. Suffice to say, I might easily be the youngest member ....not alot of modern servicemembers sign up and they should!
They have pool tables, darts, shuffleboard and a great group of people who are fun to be around and could use some younger members. I should hang around here more often.... -

What's not to love here? The staff and regulars are welcoming even if you're a group of freaks dressed in costume when it's not Halloween.
Friends of ours organise an annual pub crawl and it always starts here. This year's theme was the letter K so King Kong, KGB, Kittens, Kermit and some Kinksters gathered at the Legion to kick off the crawl along Broadway.
It was open mic night so there were people performing up on stage. I'm pretty sure every regular came up to us to see what was going on. They were having a hoot with it all! When the hubby gave the affable bartender a $20 for 2 vodka/sodas he got back something like $12!! What the huh?? I made the next round double at those prices. I didn't check out the beer selection but a buddy who's a beer aficionado was drinking Kokanee so I'll go out on a limb to say the selection is probably pretty pedestrian. Whatevs - nobody likes a beer snob, or any kind of snob, anyway!
As Cody S mentioned there are pool tables, etc so this is a fun place to hang out with the crew for inexpensive fun times. Last call was at 9:30 though so don't think you're going to make an all-nighter out of it. Go hit up the rest of Broadway once you're raring to go!
