Rosewood is a convenient location a couple of blocks away from the Inner Harbor.  While visiting the Victoria area, I spent several nights here and enjoyed my stay.  The average prices, depending on your suite, is approximately $125 to $250 depending on the suite you choose.

This inn has a bed and breakfast cottage feel to it and occupies a small corner of a block.  I had a hard time finding Rosewood since it blends into the neighborhood and not a commercial looking hotel or a sleazy looking cheap motel.  The complex has two sections:  the historic and totally renovated side.  I stayed in the renovated side.  A downside:  there are no elevators so I had to go up three, short flights of stairs with a 20 ton suitcase to get to the room.

The well appointed room included a traditional bed frame with tall wood posts and a fairly firm mattress.  A fireplace was the focal point of the side living area with an obsolete 13 inch tube television and leather couch set.  The bathroom had a claw foot tub and separate shower.  I just wished that a little more thought was put into having more counter surface area to hold my toiletry items.

Included in my stay was a gourmet breakfast.  What did I get?  A huge, hearty breakfast of eggs benedict, banana pudding, coffee, tea, orange juice and a biscuit.    The atrium area served as the dining room for the morning's meal using traditional china and silverware.

Other important concerns:  no pool or jacuzzi area on site (I believe they will allow you to go to their sister location two blocks away though), free wi-fi available, free parking available with no issues as you can park in their lot or on the side street parking, you can hear anyone talking or noises outside your room as they walk/drive by on the sidewalk/street, a mandatory $13 fee is tacked on to your bill (cleaning fee), the receptionist/concierge is helpful and friendly.

In sum, enjoyable stay at a nice, no frills location with large breakfast to start your day heading into beautiful Victoria's Inner Harbor.
