Review from Christine R.

How could anyone not love this store? It's filled with beautiful products everywhere you turn. Journals and notebooks with covers made from old magazine advertisements. Locally crafted silver jewellery. Touchy-soft clothing. Scented beeswax candles and soaps made with essential oils. Toys and books for lucky little ones. Stylish eco-bags, colourful wooden pencils, stainless steel Sigg water bottles from Switzerland, I could go on and on.
The only problem is that it's a very small space, and although when I entered the store was fairly empty, it was soon swallowed whole by a crowd of tourists who'd probably wandered over from Honey's. We were all loving the product, but it felt pretty jostly in there.
The clerk minding the store was very friendly, and when I mentioned my purchase was a gift, she kindly wrapped it in colourful tissue paper before putting it in a pretty paper bag.
I'm definitely going back to this gorgeous place to do some Christmas shopping - unless I get the weird uncle in the gift exchange, again. In that case, though, it'll be a Christmas present to me!Listed in: Fall into Deep Cove

So adorable!! The shop is like a treasure chest of modern-retro with everything from hand crafted woolly animals to block printed gift cards and yummy leather belts and bags.
I found the displays to be half the fun with colourful patterns of yesteryear covering the wall and the 'antique' wooden file cabinet of hand made cards and rubber stamps.
In two words; visually delicious! -

Room6 - Special things for nice people.
A sleeper hit in Deep Cove. Shocked to see that there was such a place, or rather people that were interested in this kinda stuff. It was almost like you could have plucked the store from it's humble surroundings and plopped in right in the heart of main street. They carry an excellent selection of smoking lilly, lots of really cool graphic art from local people, and more ugly dolls.. I had no idea ugly dolls were so popular... Really stinken cool postcards made out of veneer with interesting Charley Harpeer-esq animal graphics.. and my personal favourite the selection of hunter boots for kids! I did have to take away a couple of stars for the store itself b/c although I luved the decor but found it to be a bit cluttered. -

This hidden gem is one of favorite shops in Vancouver. It's got an "Etsy" vibe and I always find it's worth the trip out to the Cove.

I love this place. It carries a great selection of cool greeting cards, cute books and stationary, some few clothing and jewelry items for women, wooden toys for kids and home stuff. I came here with a friend, didn't need anything but bought something because I love supporting shops like this. You should too!
