We heard about this place from our vet  and we been going ever since.
We have left our dog here for 2 weeks while we were on vacation, and several weekends they also do pick ups and drop off at the airport.   We also use them for his grooming.  The workers are really friendly, always does a good job with his grooming.

We were so happy to be able to book in my dog in for a 7 nights stay  just 3 weeks before the vacation in Sept after the fiasco we had with the so-called "high-end" J Pet in Richmond.

It turns out Rondivills is pretty good.  For a starter, my dog for some reasons loved the place so much that she didn't want to leave.  She basically cried and whined (which she seldomly does) when we transported her in the cage to the car.  She came home in a happy mood and was really energetic for the whole day.   We were told that she did very well with other dogs and social well (which is pretty much what we had expected as she's been to doggy daycare before), and that everyone over there loves her as she is so friendly and cute.

Thanks to another yelper's advice, I bought her own food and repeatedly reminded the staffs that she has to be fed her own food coz she has a real sensitive stomach.  As my girl came home in good spirit and with no diarrhea incident in a week, I believe they did feed her with her own food.

My only complaint is that when we had a tour of the facility, they just won't show us a stall with a dog in it.  It would give us a better idea of the actual environment.  But for our dog (a small corgi), the stall they showed us was more than spacious.  The floor is concrete and is supposedly heated during the winter month indoor.  The connection outdoor run is caged and big enough even for large breeds.

Overall a happy customer.  Will come back again.

When I lived in Richmond, this was my first choice for boarding my dog. Large kennels. Expansive play area for the dogs during exercise time. Good staff who really enjoy and care about the canines.

My only complaint is that they stew up their own special concoction (a stew) for the dogs at meal time. Unless you bring your own food, this is what they will feed them.

My dog, Macbeth, has a sensitive stomach. Most German Shepards do. So I would bring my own dry food for him. Even so, I'm pretty sure they still fed him their concoction, since he came home with diarhhea (which is what would happen when his belly would get irritated). I suppose it could just have been stress (he doesn't like being away from home), but since it would last a few days, I'm more inclined to think it was the stew. So if you don't want your dog eating their stew, be sure to bring your own food and be very clear and firm that you don't want him eating their food.

Other than that. A good quality kennel.
